I just arrived home after visiting hubby. He seemed very lethargic which could be due to no A/C .
It was quite warm and no circulation of air. Not sure if the A/C is down or they just forgot to keep it on.

There is absolutely no air outside either. Loads of clouds and heat lightning. We had a thunderstorm last night that lasted a few minutes. Not enough rain for the drought situation. Tonight I hope to open a cabinet that is completely emptied. I’m thinking it would be great for the Thermos containers. I also now have one area of counter space and will see if it’s a good fit for the Nuwave Induction stove top. I will also see if the area is feasible for hubby in the wheelchair. He adores cooking and this will certainly help.

Tomorrow, for sure, I will be working on the plants. I just need something at the bottom for drainage. May take a ride over to Lowe’s either tomorrow or one day during the week.

I’ am still concerned with xango and hope all is OK with her and hubby. Not like her to not write something in such a long time.

Heartbroken over the news from this afternoon. I will leave it at that.

Sheba, it’s been years since my dad left us. June 23rd is when he passed. Not a day goes by that I do not think of him . Thank goodness he took the time to teach me about medications in order to feel safe. He often mentioned that he had to contact the physician about the side effects and at the same time go over the patient’s meds. In some cases the prescription could have been a killer depending on their medications. I still can picture myself at the age of 6 cleaning the shelves in the store. Did the ones I could reach. I always found something to keep me out of trouble. There were books and magazines I read in a special place. Never had a dull moment in the store. Always people to meet and talk to. Guess that’s how I learned to enjoy working in retail. Never forget the time that hubby and I helped to sell items during the Christmas holidays. Dad mentioned that he needed to sell the huge box of Whitman’s Sampler. He thought he had purchased too many. Within minutes the boxes were out the door.. I am trying to remember if they were the 25lb box or the 50lb.. So many stories. Guess you can say I could write a book.
