Took it easy today after running back and forth yesterday. The trouble I had was with the old computer, I still haven’t opened the box with the new one. Another day…..

Going up to mom’s tomorrow for a few hours. First alert weather day, mid 90s temp.🔥 Not running around until the end of the week, too hot. Ready for a windows open kind of day. The one nice thing about this heat is I haven’t been cooking!😊

Don’t fret about the computer. I still have one in a box and it’s been that way for over a year. I will probably replace the one I am using in October since I no longer can upgrade.

I cancelled Triple. After posting I went out to the car and it started up 1.2,3. It had to be weather related. Hubby was in bed before dinner. I assume he was there all day because of the weather. When in the wheelchair he zooms all over the place and then tries to go outside. The door was locked and it will probably be that way the rest of the week. Our favorite should be back next week if the doctor gives the OK. I’m not sure where he will be but I will definitely check with the receptionist. Such a great person and to see him down and out it not his forte.

I have tried to contact the bathroom remodelers to no avail. I have left numerous messages on their voice mail and so far no return call. I will be visiting hubby soon. I’m not the type to sit by the phone waiting for a call.

Hubby’s new roommate went home on Saturday. He was actually ready the day he was admitted but could not get out of bed on his own. That changed last week. At least with a wheelchair he can get around. I am wishing the same for hubby once everything is in place.

I left the rehab before 8 pm.. Since it was still light out, I picked up the mail which is one mile from the house. I noticed the darkening sky and it looked like wind clouds. There also was a shelf that was very pronounced. By the time I reached the carport, that cloud had filled in and the posing danger passed. I even had time to water a few plants that need to be transplanted. I made it into the house and prepared a light dinner. Then h-ll broke out. First the sound of hard rain followed by streaks of lightning and then the loud claps of thunder. This lasted over an hour. You could actually see the streaks of lightning through the drawn drapes. I am happy to say that I left earlier than expected. There were no notifications of the pending storm. I assume we will see more of this tonight. Temps are over 100. The heat index puts us at 114. It will be like this through Friday. There is a heat advisory until 7 pm.. Leaving the rehab yesterday you could feel the humidity and the heat. There was no let up. Temp during the night was in the low 80s. Thank goodness for the A/C.

OZ is super hot today these are the dog days of summer. I will take a chilly day in
the fall right about now. 💕🎈

Good morning in S. California. OZ is blazing hot. 😎🎈Taci did you see in Colorado
where a second plane this year caught on fire leaving Denver? I mean it was hard
to look at. My family is at that Airport traveling to different places all the time.

My niece took her dog on the plane there to and from GA. What is going on with
the planes now a days? A bit unnerving I saw parents holding their kids and bags slinding
off the plane on the slides. Too much!

I don’t know what’s with all the bashing I don’t understand. I will leave it at that. 😎

Wishing you a nice new week here is to enjoying HSN and all the other things we do in
life. 😎🎈 Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.

I am so sorry your car is out of order and I pray Triple A got there in time. I think it could
be all this heat everyone is having all over.

Oodie I am sorry about your husband’s coughing spells and the fact they are watching
what he eat and watching you too. I know what you mean by kid portion of food.
I hate that.

I know you can’t wait to get him out of there. I am sure he will do better at home with the
proper care and the right help. I don’t like that people are going to bed hungry.
Oodie with the money they charge for patients the very least they can do is give you
a decent meal. I will leave it at that. I hope he has good books to read.

Oz was in triple digits for heat index and will be all week. Sheesh!
