Sheba, Happy 1st day of summer to you as well. Oz sounds hot and luckily you have air.
I’m a bit tired. Had to go to Costco and pick up new reading glasses since mine broke on vacation. Hubs likes the new style better than the old style so that’s good. They are lightweight and should be hardy. The traffic was awful. CA is trying to squeeze too many people in with horrible boxy buildings. Yes, ready to leave here. Got my hair colored today and got the scoop on friends Barcelona trip. No water guns, and no visible protests. She stayed in a hotel and had a good time other than being jet lagged (drinking on the plane and continuing onward trooper that she is) My guess is she was very dehydrated. She always has a good time.

Happy, almost, the first day of summer. Thank you for the peonies. I have a couple of plants at the Cape house. They came from my mom’s garden after she passed away. My neighbor has been watering the plants since I have been in Florida.

Still no one has shown and right now I cannot blame them. With the high humidity and almost no air to breathe, I am hoping they will wait for the change in the weather before venturing here.

I will be leaving in about an hour to visit hubby. Definitely will stop at Culver’s for a salad and some cherished homemade custard with hot fudge for a hubby delight. Tomorrow, I am hoping, to make a stop at the Farmer’s Market for veggies and fruit. Of course, the weather will play a huge part as to whether I remain inside or venture out. Funny, the front of our home looks like rain. The back, overlooking the lake, is sunny. Go figure.
