NATIONAL HANDSHAKE DAY

Each year during the last Thursday of June, people across the nation observe National Handshake Day. Of all the various forms of greeting, the handshake is perhaps one of the most ancient and the most honorable.

NATIONAL CHOCOLATE PUDDING DAY

Each year on June 26, National Chocolate Pudding Day gets us all excited for a serving of this creamy dessert. This delicious food holiday provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy this chocolatey delight after a busy day.

NATIONAL BEAUTICIAN’S DAY

For the sheer love of all things hair, style and wisdom, June 26 is National Beautician’s Day. Also known as stylists and cosmetologists, these men and women make us look our best every day.

NATIONAL COCONUT DAY

Summer starts in earnest on June 26 when National Coconut Day arrives! This sweet food holiday celebrates all things coconut, including the benefits coconut provides for a healthy body.

NATIONAL BARCODE DAY

National Barcode Day on June 26 commemorates more than 50 years of accuracy and efficiency that began when a clerk scanned a 10-pack of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit gum at a Marsh supermarket in Troy, OH. On that day the barcode system began to change the world.

NATIONAL BOMB POP DAY

The last Thursday in June is reserved for enjoying a summertime favorite on National Bomb Pop Day. The rocket shape and vivid colors of a Bomb Pop reminds us of fireworks, preparing you for the excitement of the upcoming 4th of July holiday.

It was pouring when I left to see Hubby. On route I did a detour to Culver’s and picked up the shrimp dinner with salad and broccoli. I also bought vanilla custard with hot fudge. I picked up the same, minus the ice cream/custard for the receptionist. Hubby looked much better. His memory returned. I am now wondering if he had skipped a meal or two yesterday. On second thought he may have ventured outside and thus had heat stroke. I do call in to make sure the nurses and aides check on him. If our favorite aide was around I wouldn’t be so concern.

I did mention the owlet from last night. He was flabbergasted. I didn’t take pictures because the camera was in the house and I really didn’t want to scare the poor thing. Hubs was also watching a movie. He said he got tired of the news and needed a change.

There was quite a lightning show on my return home. No thunder. But streaks of lightning non stop. I was so glad to make it home in one piece.

Enjoy the rest of your evening. Guess your sister will be on her way home following breakfast. Just read where the heat wave is just about over. Temps will be down 30 degrees Guess it will be sweater weather for some. It was very warm when I left the rehab. The warm air felt very welcoming after feeling the cold breeze from the overhead vent. I think they keep it cold to keep the viruses out or from spreading. Didn’t need the A/C on the return trip.

Good Evening and again thank you for all your prayers and kind thoughts. I am doing
alright. I was vexed most of the day because her surgery took so long much longer
than expected. We all know why I will explain that for another day. 😎My niece was
on the Plane in Atlanta going to Colorado for over three hours. So long day for everyone.

I am just glad you are here. 💕😎I know some days the system is wonky my problem
is the ReCaptcha it takes longer to do the things that I do. So far so good today.

Oodie do you know it is Jaws Month the Movie? I did not know they made 4 movies.
The first was the best and scared the daylights out of me. I still go into the water. 😎

Enjoy a good book and something cool to drink. My sister is doing alright. Sis had a nice
appetite my niece FaceTime me from her hospital bed. 💕Sis is up walking and moving.
The pain is hard for her she is so brave and does not want to take much for the pain.
I am advising her to take something to get rid of the pain or take the edge off.
Sis does not like taking any kind of drugs. I believe in taking only what you need. 😎

Good evening I don’t know what your project was but I do a lot of things for others. 🎈😎
I enjoy it and I think most Leos do. I like to feel good I don’t beat people down I try to
lift them it in any way I can. That’s really what is all about. 😎🎈💕

This is Pride Month so I am honoring many artists who lived their lives.

I will let you know when she gets back I can’t wait what she tells me. We have lunch
often I enjoy hearing her stories and being a College Professor she has done and seen
a lot. This sweet lady is a very strong woman she is from the North.

I would relax tonight and call it a day with a good program. I may check out Mayfair
Witches. 😎

Taci my niece did sit on the plane for over three hours. I am just thankful she made to Colorado safetly.
