Conversation 30

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread.
This is number 30 out of the of the series.
I created and started this thread 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

You never know the kindness of neighbors until something like this happens. What nice people your sis and mom have to offer the generator for the frig. What you describe is something like we had with Milton. My cell was up and running and I also had time to recharge it and my Kindle. Thankfully, our cable company kept us updated and even sent an alert just before Milton hit to get away from doorways and windows. We all did and we were lucky. Returning home the next day there was debris everywhere. Not one area seemed safe. Trees were uprooted, homes were without roofs and even our Farmer’s Market did not escape the wrath of this hurricane. As I said previously, there was no rain. Only wind. The city looked like a war zone. Finally reaching our home all I saw were roofs gone, homes demolished, trees down and no lights anywhere. My carport was in good shape and it seemed our home may have been spared. But those were the famous last words. I entered the house and looked at the kitchen. We have a window there that looks over the lake and I could already see that the lanai was gone. From there I went towards the back of our home which also looks over the street. There was no damage. It was on my way back towards the kitchen that I noticed a bright light which had never been in that location. We lost the den roof. We were without electricity for five days or more. Yes, we also had neighbors that had generators and helped to keep our cells and androids in good working condition. Next month we also have a week to purchase items that we may need for a hurricane. All items will be tax exempt. Definitely will be looking at generators. The people I hired to redo our guest bathroom, floors, ramp and wall painting say the work will take only a few days. The only question I will need to answer is helping hubby get in and out of bed into a wheelchair. I am looking at slings and something that is portable. I still think a pool would be useful in so many ways. Time will tell.
I think a huge party will be in order when things are back to normal, or whatever the new normal is. Take care and be thankful for the little things. We can replace the cars, homes, trees, etc.. But we cannot replace the ones we love. Hope things get better in the days to come.

Good Evening Oodie you have a right to be lazy anytime like all of us at times.
The last two years have been constant back and forth alone with no help.
I would take all the time you need as long as we know you are alright.I will be happy when this renovation is done to your satisfaction. 💕
I know your hubby could care less as long as it is safe for him like the ramp
and such.Glad he is on solid food my goodness I would be happy too. 💕
Oodie your storm season is coming and it would be nice to have the renovation
one and done and I pray no damage if there is a big one.You have been through so much in two years you could write a book pun intended. LOL!

Cool and rainy night in OZ we are around 50 degrees and will be lower as the night
goes on we have a beautiful crescent moon just beautiful. All the animals are fed.
I am jumping in the shower and will crash with hubby. 💕Oodie not to be left out but I am very concerned about Xango. I know when the time is
right she will reach out and post. 💕Enjoy your evening. 😎

Good evening to you and hubs. 💕Wow what a storm good grief. I am still thankful
no one was hurt. I have seen huge trees uprooted here in OZ I mean they will smash
a car or house very dangerous. I would not want to be out in that kind of storm.I do watch out for the weather and keep away the windows and such. I do have a family
room basement looks great and safe. The Generator was a smart idea we are getting one for the storm season which is coming.
I am a bit under the weather due to reaction from some meds I took earlier. I have never
had a reaction like that ever. My husband was home the salad I was eating I have no idea
what happened to it. I am fine now but I don’t have a reaction like that. I was out in the yard
and the pollen count was high. I am having Greek Food tomorrow. 💕Lady how are you doing? I am glad your husband has recovered from his cough.
I just hope your mom power is restored and soon. Thank goodness for good neighbors.
This should relax you and hopefully things will be better tomorrow.
Sweet Dreams. 💕😎
