Hi and a good afternoon to you and Poppy. I just returned from the annual eye doctor appointment. Yesterday I wasn’t sure I would be OK for today. Thankfully, the Dramamine kicked in and all is well. I have been living with Meniere’s for years and years. You could awaken and feel good and then all of a sudden things start to move in a circle. Standing, sitting, reclining all become issues. The room spins even when your eyes are closed. The hardest part is being able to crawl into bed and that depends where you are at the time. Our bedroom is designed for this. I have many things I can either lean on or hold onto until I can make it to the bed and the meds. Making it to the bathroom is sometimes a crawl or using a chair with wheels. During this period I try to stay hydrated and definitely a drink like the one xango mentioned is high on the list. Though my allergist retired years ago, we remained friends and sending him an email is what I do when I can. Anyway, I was prepared for the long haul and found myself lucky that by late afternoon everything had passed. Normally, it is a two or three day thing.

Had the appointment with the ophthalmologist this morning. He was quite surprised during the examination to see that one of the cataracts seemed to go down in size. He had to redo that part of the exam several times and look at my previous records. He had never seen this happen before and thought he had read the info incorrectly. Thank you Mr. Lessman. Your eye vitamins are working well.

Hubby was with me. He is again missing this upper implants. I will be leaving shortly for the rehab with toothbrush and toothpaste in hand. This never should have happened. I will look for them and will also notify the rehab if they are missing. Hubby, at least, picked out new frames and we both love them. I have the paperwork in the car on his transaction in hopes that the rehab will reimburse me since they were either stolen by the help for the frames or were tossed by the kitchen staff. Good start for the round of doctor appointments for this month and next.

The lost implants were found on the floor of a hallway. Hubby has no recollection losing them. I had first searched the room and asked the nurse if she knew where they were. The teeth are in my bag and will get an overnight soaking and then brushing. . Thankfully they were found. This case is now closed.

No rain today. It is hot and very humid. Tomorrow, the same with a chance of raindrops. Have a great evening.
