PEACE OFFICERS MEMORIAL DAY

May 15 honors Peace Officers Memorial Day to tribute to local, state, and federal law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice or been injured in the line of duty. The observance takes place during Police Week.

NATIONAL CHOCOLATE CHIP DAY

On May 15, we recognize a morsel of a thing on National Chocolate Chip Day! This tiny piece of chocolate makes a big impact to any recipe you add it to!

do a brief stint at the new Digs. I will miss so many who will not be back. 💕🎈❤️

I have been Heidi Daus for a good 20 years and she still have that sparkle and charm
and most of all her knowledge of her jewel pieces and the amazing stories behind them.

I enjoy watching Lynn and Heidi together and like you, will miss them both. However, I do wonder that even though Lynn is not moving to PA., if she might consider flying to PA just to do a few shows. It’s just a thought. Only time will tell if there will be a change.

I actually just returned home. Hubby was outside when I arrived. If it wasn’t for his hat, I would not have recognized him. He needs a haircut. His hair was almost down past his chin. But, it was cute in that he had ringlet of curls. There was also a squirrel visiting the area. Squirrels here are tiny in comparison to the ones up North. This one I have to say was cute. He/she was scrounging for food and I just happened to start clicking. This one seems very friendly and almost came to me. I know we are not supposed to have nuts at the rehab, but will put one or two in my pocket tomorrow to see what happens.

When I arrived home there were two packages waiting for me. I opened one and it turned out to be the TS fan from Sunday. I ordered the coral and the color is not loud. It will go with all my outdoor looks. I purchased it because of the air quality. There are times in Florida that you really cannot breathe through the heat and humidity. This will certainly come in handy when visiting hubby or just sitting outside. I was amazed to see that it was running after opening the box. But what amazed me more was the amount of energy it has and the blast of air it gives off. I also purchased a larger one to use when weeding. It will fit on our stone/brick wall while working out front. Cannot wait to see hubby’s reaction when I bring it tomorrow.

Getting back to HSN’s move to PA.. I am shocked as well as surprised that the Governor of Florida didn’t try to keep the business in the area. They are the largest employer on the Gulf Coast and though the weather is changing some things could have been said. At least that is my feeling. I understand the reason for the move, just not so sure if anything was done prior as an incentive to stay. I will leave it at that.

Just wrapped my shows for April — and most likely my last show from this building in St. Petersburg. We’ve made a lot of memories here, we are truly a family after working together for many of us more than half our lives. I was in this building as a show host for 22 years and now as a designer with my own brand for almost 5. Its definitely home to me and I will miss so much about it, but most of all, I will miss the people that I have had the honor to work with and more importantly be a family with. We will always be connected ❤️I spotted this butterfly mural on the way out and had to stop. It felt right — a little nod to change, growth, and new chapters.
April was Customer Appreciation Month, but the truth is, I appreciate you every day. Whether you’ve been with me from the start as a show host or just discovered my line, your support means everything.
Thanks for showing up, for cheering me on, and for letting my jewelry be a small part of your life. Love you and will see you from where our next chapter takes us, the beautiful campus of QVC on May 20th @4p.
