I am glad that you and your hubby took the time to see your sil and brother in Georgia, and of course the rest of the family. As you well know it is not easy to deal with a cancer diagnosis and to go through chemo and then the surgical procedure. It will probably take months before she starts to gain some of the weight. Her body needs to adjust to whatever was taken out and to find new ways to do things. I just hope and pray that each doctor appointment gives her good reports and then some. As soon as she starts gaining and her strength returns, then you know she is on the right path. Have patience. I think some makeup and new clothes may help the situation for the time being. Maybe some day trips can ease some of the pain as well. At least it is something to look forward to if you are feeling better.

I was at the rehab before 5 pm yesterday. Went to hubby’s room and he wasn’t there. Finally found him in the dining room in a corner. Moved him to the dining room table and had a nice time conversing about nothing. Following dinner an aide brought him to the lanai and I followed. He started singing songs from “Guys and Dolls.” I haven’t heard him sing in such a long time. He still has a voice. So good to hear and gave me a nice smile. I left just before 9 pm.

I didn’t go to the rehab today. Managed to get the trash and recycle out and that ended my day. On my way out the front door my left knee gave me a hard time and decided that I needed to take care of that issue. When hubby sees me in distress he starts to worry. Thankfully, the vehicle I use is automatic. My standard shift is in the garage up North.

Enjoy your visit and stay well. Your son needing to get away and returning home makes me smile. Tell your SIL not to lose hope. There will be some days that all seems well and then other days when you fall behind. Everything takes time to heal especially on the inside.

SIL has lost a lot of weight and this is really upsetting my family. I brought my

Lady all the homes down here are so large and beautiful. 🌹😎

I have lost another relative over the weekend. I am trying to deal with it and I will
say something about it when I get home at least I am with family. 🌹

My brother and SIL are doing alright I spent part of the morning with them. Yeah she
has last a lot of weight. When my son said he needed a break he was not kidding.

All the kids need a break. 🌹

Oodie how is hubby doing? I will be posting and checking in I will be home in a few
days and no one will know the difference. Thank you for your concern.

Very worried about SIL she is very thin as to be expected. I also lost another relative
and I am not able to talk about that one just yet. I have a lot going on.🌹😎

Oodie it’s what the storm left behind and the internet we will have light rain which is needed.

PHEW !!! That’s a load off my mind. Hope you find your sil is doing well and your brother and the kids are ok as well. What I didn’t post is that I did check the weather for the entire state of Kansas. Nothing earth shattering. At least all is quiet until tomorrow. Take care and enjoy your visit.😀😀🎹🎶

Good Day Girls and Peeps! 🌹😎✨I was not trying to scare anyone or cause concerns.
My son needed a break from GA. Hubs and I are in Atlanta for a few days to check on
my brother and his family. Our son is at our house in OZ.

This was done at the last minute and I had no internet my son said our provider just
got everything fix and it is now up and running.

Hey we have people on this thread that I have not heard from in 5 years I still keep
them close at heart.

Nice to be noticed I am not here which I know is rare. LOL! I always give that shout out
when I am concerned and we all have habits. Oodie called it just not the right State. 🌹

Son is watching Poppy and feeding the cats just need a short break. I think we needed
one too. All Good! 😎✨
