NATIONAL CHEESE DAY

Moooove over whiners! June 4 is National Cheese Day! An encyclopedia of cheese will cover the alphabet and broaden your vocabulary. It will undoubtedly contain more varieties of cheese than what’s found at the local grocer.

And Brother said he recollected when he and Tom and Billie Joe
Put a frog down my back at the Carroll County picture show
And wasn’t I talkin’ to him after church last Sunday night?
I’ll have another piece of apple pie, you know it don’t seem right
I saw him at the sawmill yesterday on Choctaw Ridge
And now you tell me Billie Joe’s jumped off the Tallahatchie Bridge
Mama said to me, Child, what’s happened to your appetite?
I’ve been cookin’ all mornin’ and you haven’t touched a single bite
That nice young preacher, Brother Taylor, dropped by today
Said he’d be pleased to have dinner on Sunday, oh, by the way
He said he saw a girl that looked a lot like you up on Choctaw Ridge
And she and Billie Joe was throwing somethin’ off the Tallahatchie Bridge
A year has come and gone since we heard the news ’bout Billie Joe
And brother married Becky Thompson, they bought a store in Tupelo
There was a virus goin’ ’round, Papa caught it and he died last spring
And now mama doesn’t seem to wanna do much of anything
And me, I spend a lot of time pickin’ flowers up on Choctaw Ridge
And drop them into the muddy water off the Tallahatchie Bridge

Hard to understand why people do such bad things. Their passion seems to be in the wrong direction when others are hurt. I can’t make any sense why innocents and strangers become targets. Life can change in an instant, regrettably.😥

Did some errand shopping this afternoon.🛒 Mom and sis are good, sis stopped at my house yesterday for a few minutes while doing errands for mom. Sending birthday wishes to your wonderful mom for the whole month!🎈🎂

Oz is raining very heavy and this is an all day event.

I have no problem with it and I don’t sweat the small things. LOL! 😎

I hope your Pasta Meal was yummy. 💕🎈

How is your mother and sister? My mother’s birthday is this month and I may try
to make it to Colorado for a visit. I am very upset with the evil things people do
and say. What happened in Boulder did not make any sense but evil never does.

Lately I have seen so many unhappy and hateful people full of it. Anyway that is their
story to tell.
