Oodie I walk in the rain with Poppy all the time I love doing it. I have my rain gear, winter
gear and spring walking sneakers all ready and waiting in the closet downstairs. I keep my
hand umbrella handy. I will not walk when it is thunder and lightning that is a no no. 😎

We will plant after Easter which will be a all day rain. 💕

Like you, I am finding the news very depressing. I’m not even reading it online. I will leave it at that.

Yesterday I spent the entire day with hubby. I arrived around 11 am because he had an eye doctor appointment scheduled for the afternoon. Our aide was there doing light duty which included wheeling patients to the dining room and help serve lunch. It was good to see him. After lunch we went to the TV room and I had the papers set for his signature. The only problem is that he really could not see the highlighted area or the line where his signature was needed. Hubby has a lazy eye which is somewhat blinded from cataract surgery that should not have happened. This was years ago before we went to Boston. The ophthalmologist prescribed different lenses to try to counter the problem. Unfortunately, as you know, those glasses were stolen or thrown into the garbage. Anyway he never saw the physician and of course I was absolutely livid. It turns out that he had the prescription for glasses from last year’s exam. On my way out the door to mail the signed papers is when the Social Worker gave me the info. I will now make an appointment for new frames and lenses. I will also try to see if the rehab will help cover the cost. Hubs had the habit of taking his glasses off and leaving them on the dinner tray. Why the aides never looked is beyond my comprehension.

Today I am home playing catch up on the laundry that was supposed to be done yesterday and some other things. The planters I ordered arrived yesterday and I will empty the boxes this evening. Hoping to do some planting either tomorrow or Friday. I have soil. Got smart and had it delivered. My only question is where the planters will go. I have a couple of places in mind. One will definitely go in front of the kitchen window where I can watch for the butterflies and hummingbirds. It also gets full sun in that area. Difficulty will be in getting the hose through the doors of the lanai to reach it.

Our temps were in the mid to upper 70s today and overnight in the 60s. The longer the weather can stay this way, the harder it will be for the hurricanes to form. I just hope and pray that we will keep our roof this year.
