Conversation 29

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 29 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 11 years. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ

I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. โœจ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. ๐ŸŒนโœจ๐Ÿ˜Ž

      @xango,

      Good day in sunny Florida. OZ is warm today at 34 degrees. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’•I will take it as it’s
      the warmest we have been in over a week. I am sure the animals love it too.

      Xango you are right there in Florida and I think your Zennias Flowers will turn out
      fine. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ

      How are you doing today? What are you cooking? I always like to ask that question
      I like the way you use your seasoning. I think that puts some pop in your food. ๐Ÿ’•

      How are things with your family? I know Carnival is the end of February I believe I think
      that would be so much fun. ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽˆ

      Oz ground is hard as the ice on it I will be planting in a couple of months. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’•

      @oodiebom,

      Good day on the Gulf Coast of Florida. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆWell you have been busy as a bee.
      Glad hubby got to eat some good food. I understand when he say’s he is tired of
      the stuff they give him. I don’t blame him.

      I am sure things will change when you get him home.

      I am glad planting season is on the horizon. ๐Ÿ˜Ž The caveat is the weather. OZ can be a fickle
      place even in the spring.

      Oodie SIL is having surgery in a couple of weeks. We are all praying for good results.

      Well my headache is gone I feel so much better. I had a nice long walk in the sun.
      Poppy was happy to get back to doing normal things. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’•

      I may make some chili today and get some Kosher Hot Dogs for another day.

      Oodie let me know how things goes. I love the Butterfly Plant I know you will find one. ๐Ÿ’•

      Good morning in S. California. OZ is very nice at 34 degrees that is a heat wave. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽˆ

      I have errands to run today so I am going to get them out of the way. One and Done. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

      Sheba, Wow 29!
      It is so kind of you to care for the cats. Thank you.
      It’s sad here with so many animals left in some isolated places and if they are found they can end up in worse situations.
      We have had some great weather and I am hiking. Today was almost hot, which slowed me down.
      Have a good evening!

      @shoelady60,

      Good day in the ‘burgh. I hope you were able to sleep last night. I know how bad
      coughing can be when you are in a good sleep.

      Poppy took your advice I had a major headache due to the weather I took some meds
      and slept like a baby. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’•I have to really bundle up as I go in and out of the house
      at night feeding the cats.

      Lady the cats came to me for some reason. I always watch the moon every night on my
      front porch I guess they see this tall ethereal looking woman in the night staring at the
      moon and they just keep coming. I am going to buy more food for them. ๐Ÿ’•

      Hey I hope that cough goes away and I hope your husband feels better too.

      Sending warm hugs to you and Jake. ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ˜Ž

      Prayers for the Pope, I just heard he is in serious condition.๐Ÿ™

      I so enjoy scrolling to your page after reading so many mean spirited comments, and criticism directed at almost everything, hosts, appearances, techniques, quality, quantity, customer service, admin, etc, etc. Refreshing to know there are still many positive individuals who don’t feel the need to dwell on negativity and able to enjoy the many positive elements we are surrounded by and not get pleasure from jeopardizing one’s livelihood.

      Sheba, this is such a positive thing to do. Thank you as alwaysfor your lovely posts. Today, March 21st is National Fragrance Day. ๐ŸŒนโ˜˜๏ธ๐Ÿ’. Wondering what aromas or fragrances everyone enjoys? I switch up my perfumes because I had two favorites for many many years that then were discontinued. Now, I am fickle, always trying to find “the one”. I do like light florals over gourmand and orientals. Anyone want to weigh in? Thanks Sheba and thanks everyone!

      NATIONAL CAREGIVERS DAY

      National Caregivers Day on the third Friday in February honors the healthcare professionals across the country providing long-term and hospice care.

      Around the nation, dedicated healthcare professionals serve those who require long-term or hospice care. They provide vital services, reassuring patients and the families who care about them. Often loved ones require care we are unable to provide due to our inability physically or not having the skills or means to provide the care. Expert caregivers are trained to provide round-the-clock services in safe environments. Their care enables the family to focus on their loved one’s healing process. In hospice care, a caregiver allows the family to spend time with their loved one without worrying about medical responsibilities.

      Caregivers deliver a variety of duties from personal care to medical services with compassion and professionalism. Their days may be long and demanding, but they provide support to those who need it most.

      The celebration recognizes caregivers who provide quality, compassionate care every day.

      NATIONAL GRAIN-FREE DAY

      National Grain-Free Day on February 21st inspires families and friends to gather and enjoy each others’ company over grain-free meals. What a remarkable way to devote an entire day to loved ones who cope with dietary limitations. Not only does the day create a way to recognize the difficulties of a restricted diet, but it celebrates the family and brings everyone back into the kitchen for a meal designed just for them.

      We stayed in the 60’s today. The evening is chilly, and good sleeping weather. But pretty soon here, we will be hot and humidity high enough to cut with a knife.

      I’m just waiting a few more weeks to plant some Zennias from seeds. You never know when a real cold front may come down and kill little plants. This year I didn’t have to cover any at all.

      @sheba2011

      Hi. A cool day in Florida with temps in the mid 60s. Temp will go down to somewhere in the 40s tonight. It was way too cold visiting hubby yesterday, but colder outside. Temp was in the high 40s when I left.

      I am on my way to CVS for meds and then on to Chinese take out. Good day for soup for hubby and some shrimp for me. Hubby is doing OK. I managed to speak with someone yesterday on his prescription eyeglasses. All I can say is the hunt is on. I still feel that one of the aides took them, but cannot prove it. Then again, hubby has a habit of leaving them on his tray or in a shirt pocket and forgets about it. This part has been going on for years. He has a new roommate. This one loves TV and hubby is happy. Was able to watch “Two and a Half Men.” He was all smiles. I worked on a jigsaw in Kindle. And, yes, the room was icy. Even his roommate remarked. He may go home if it keeps up.

      Guess spring is around the corner. See the planting season has begun. I have my eye on the multi colored butterfly plant. Checked some of the places here with no luck. Then again, it may be too early to plant. Well, now I am on my way. I hope all the kitties start showing up for food.
      Wish they would like being indoors during the cold days. Have a great day. Hope your SIL is feeling OK following the treatment.

      Love the birds. We are starting to see some of the birds from the North. A few love climbing on our lanai screens to find bugs. They keep that up I won’t have to use the hose in a few weeks.

      Hubby enjoyed Wonton Soup. It was loaded and he had no trouble downing all the goodies. I ordered a shrimp dish with veggies. I also gave some to hubby and will look at other items when I do some food shopping. He was able to eat everything. I did not cut the shrimp or the veggies into tiny pieces. He is so tired of food being pureed. He is having problems with his fingers in that he cannot use them. Consequently the muscles are starting to go. He is on iron pills, but I feel nutrients is the way to go on this one. I noticed a huge difference when I gave him all the meatballs from the grinder. Within twenty-four hours he was able to raise his hand and reach for an item on his movable tray. This is the first time in weeks. I think I will visit the Farmer’s Market tomorrow and get an idea of some food items that may help to get those vitamin levels where they should be. I am seeing more and more people saying that over-the counter vitamins are a health risk. This is getting scary. Oh yes, our pills for sinus problems just got testier as well. It may be causing dementia. Doctors should give a prescription. I’m smiling. How many prescriptions have side effects???? Enough said.

      Did the kitties show for dinner tonight. I wonder if they did, if they asked for seconds……
