Good evening Sheba, sending prayers to Kansas, and to all of the families of the tragic accident in Washington, DC. I remember the one that happened in January of 1982.
I also hope you are feeling better and your sinus is giving you some relief.

I was just thinking about how long can the TV shopping channels sustain. And now I read about the changes. I have purchased many items from QVC in the past. That’s many years ago. Now days I don’t even turn the TV to QVC, however, it was just a matter of time this would happen. Everything is over priced, and can be found on Amazon, Walmart, Target and other places such as Temu. Mostly with a better price and free shipping. The sad part will be that people may lose their jobs.
So I guess I will be shopping else where for the items I some time purchase from HSN.

We have a prime membership on Amazon. I have purchased the Perlier Line products and Wolfgang Puck items. Lately I have been placing lots of orders from Temu. At my age I didn’t think I would be making so many purchases. Organizing my kitchen and bathroom, like on Amazon, the key is to search the item you want. There is more then one vendor and they all have different prices. I found an under the counter Organizer both on Amazon and Temu, the very same item. Amazon wanted $43.00 dollars for it. Temu had its lowest price for $8.99 , imagine that the very same item. I have purchased so much on Temu, it’s addictive 😄. From kitchen towels, table runners, rugs, door mats, Sponges, lots of Christmas items and much more.
Nevertheless I will miss HSN.

Sheba, Hope you find your relative in Witchita well. Guess we will all find out more about what happened once the investigations are completed. The loss of life is tragic.
On the tb, I had a colleague catch it at work doing client training. All those clients coming in and out everyday, she had to take antibiotics for a year, delay her pregnancy, also no drinking.
I’m sure it was a long year for her.
It sounds like your SIL has some good news. I’ll keep rooting for her recovery!
Nice post about removing those toxic people from your life, it’s good advice.

I am a bit tired. Today was garbage and recycle and I was able to do both. Did laundry and now back to kitchen KP.. The news yesterday was devastating. I was with hubby when the accident occurred. Both of us were shocked. I left after 10 pm.

I had a feeling that both HSN and QVC would eventually merge. I can understand their reasoning, but it is one of the largest businesses in Florida. I feel sorry for the new hosts as well as the ones that have been with HSN since their beginnings in the mid 80s. However, I do think that leaving Florida is much more than they are telling. Over the last three or four years we have had some real major hurricanes that have impacted not only customers but businesses as well. Some are still digging out from the last two storms, But it is not only the storms but the insurance costs. Many Insurance companies have left the area and at the same time left people looking for alternatives. Though Citizens have remained, the cost has gone up and again Citizens can only do so much. In so doing, Citizens had to leave people stranded. There is nothing we can honestly do to change the forecasts. However, Insurance companies could change their tune and offer something to homeowners. I surmise that once I head North, I may be one of many who will not return to the Sunshine State. This is the second year in a row that I had to replace a roof. It’s not cheap. Guess hubby and I will need to weigh the good with the bad.

I will not be going to the rehab today. Will do some work tomorrow morning and then head out to Costco. Hubby has asked for ice cream, so will check the food court. The Rehab is less than 5 miles from Costco. And speaking of the Rehab, just noticed another shake up. Seems we are now on our second Unit Manager in less than 4 months. The male RN that I liked and who would walk me to my vehicle when he was working has not been seen in over two weeks. Our favorite aide seems to think he is on vacation. But the most anyone takes is one week. Wish they were more up front. I have given notice to both the Social Workers and to Business Management that I am working on getting hubby home ASAP. I hope to have the majority of the work done by the end of February. That would give both of us some time to get acquainted with the new things and be better equipped for returning Northward. I hope and pray that I can do this.

Same plans as you for dinner. Hubs met his sister for lunch and he brought me home dinner so I didn’t have to cook.😊

Hope your town is getting the TB under control. Scary stuff, no place is safe anymore. Prayers for the victims and families of the DC tragedy.🙏😥 Another big why???

here at HSN. This is sad and I hope the Hosts and others will not be affected.

Yeah I shop on QVC as well as HSN. I have done this for decades. I will keep my thoughts
