Sheba, Our lite rain is on the way for next week. You have relatives everywhere. That’s a large family. Glad the cats are doing well, and Poppy is styling in the red coat. How adorable.

I had a salad and soup today Oz was grey and cold. I went had had a facial done and it felt

Luther Vandross and David Bowie were music legends who worked together on several projects, including the 1975 album Young Americans. Vandross was a backing vocalist on the album and also sang the title track live.
How they met
Vandross’s friend Carlos Alomar introduced him to Bowie.
Vandross was a backup singer for Bowie’s 1974 live tour.
Their work together
Vandross sang backing vocals on Young Americans.
Vandross performed the title track “Young Americans” on stage and television.
Vandross and Bowie reworked Vandross’s song “Funky Music (Is a Part of Me)” into “Fascination” for Young Americans. “Fascination” was Vandross’s first published songwriting credit.
Vandross toured with Bowie, singing backing vocals and opening the show with his own material.
Their friendship
Vandross and Bowie remained friends until Vandross’s death in 2005 and Bowie’s death in 2017.

Spent the afternoon at mom’s listening to stories, looking at what she bought and a few pictures. She is too funny – told me she was all liquored up!🤣 Had a Black Russian every night to help her sleep and a few other drinks I never heard of during the cruise. Mom is tipsy after one drink, lol! They had a real good time.🛳

Made some coleslaw and a quick sandwich for dinner.🥪 Tomorrow I will make a roast with potatoes and carrots in the crockpot which will make the kitchen smell great.

Like you, TV is on but not watching the news. I am almost afraid to turn it on. Guess we’ll watch some hockey tonight, our team is so horrible.😖 Have a relaxing evening, love and hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Thanks for asking about my husband. He is doing well. He had Mohs surgery on his temple and one ear. The ear also got a skin graft which takes longer to heal but it is getting there. I hope that’s it for now.
