You are right, my sister said the exact same thing yesterday. And they missed all the snow and minus temperatures here. Someone was looking down on them six months ago when they booked it!

Your mom and sister saw Hawaii at the right time. I just viewed the flooding in and around the islands due to the rain event. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to watch the comings and goings and all the sightseeing they could accomplish in just a few short days. I wonder if your mom and sis picked up some muumuus on one of the islands. Your mom’s drink used to be one of my favorites. It’s one that I never thought of having on any of our cruises, but something to remember for the future. Just delighted to see they are now home safe and sound.

Taking it easy Sunday for me. The roast is cooking and the aromas are floating around the house. This is always at least a two day meal so no cooking tomorrow, yay!😊

Grammy’s tonight – I hope the winners are artists I recognize. I know I’m getting old when they announce a name and I say “who”???🙄 Looking forward to your fashion show.

It’s a cloudy day on the Gulf Coast. No rain expected today, though we really could use some droplets. The temp is 72 as I type. Humidity is 82%. On Friday I saw a tiny rainbow in the clouds dressed in yellows. Loved it.

I arrived at the Rehab yesterday about 5:30pm. I had ordered a grinder on my way in for myself and the receptionist. It had just arrived and was still popping hot. Thank goodness for my carrying bags from HSN. I had purchased the 8 as a TS. Just wish they had some kind of closure to keep the food warm or cold. I arrived at hubby’s room to people standing around his bed. The kitchen had given him tuna from the can. No celery or onions or a sweet pickle flavoring. It was plain. However, it went down the wrong pipe and he was having a coughing fit. The coughing lasted almost two hours and I didn’t leave until it stopped and he was comfortable. This is why he ends up in the hospital and yes, I am very concerned. It is scary and I wonder how we will make the 1300+ miles North when the time comes. I may hire an Aide to be with us and then fly him/her to Fl.. I hope it isn’t necessary.

I did not make it to Costco. Actually, I hate shopping on the weekend, so may go tomorrow if all is well. Our aide will be on duty tomorrow and Tuesday and then back on Friday for the 4 day weekend. I am hoping to make a stop at Culver’s for their vanilla custard on the way to see hubby. I have a salad in the frig that I made and that will be my dinner. I will add ham and cheese to the mix.

The legs are feeling better each day. The temp ,I am positive, is helping. As soon as I can stand for a good amount of time and walk throughout our home without a problem, I will start walking around our community. I need to get those legs limber again. Doctor appointments are next month and I don’t need any surprises. My lab reports, like yours, have been through the roof. I give all the pluses to Andrew Lessman.

Hope you and Poppy enjoy the sunshine and the warmer temps.. At least, for now, you do not have the worries of ice under foot. Enjoy the moonlight tonight. It has been too cloudy for me to see the stars and moon when I leave the rehab.. Sure miss the RN who would walk me to the car at night. It’s been two weeks and no one is giving me any answers. The police cars were out in droves last night. Could not wait to get home.

My sniffles are long gone and we have some warmth today.
I am putting a light sweater on Poppy and we are going to get some sun.
My poor baby wants to go on a longer walk and we will hey I need this just
as much as he do.

Walking makes me feel better and the endorphins get to pumping that is a great feeling. 😎
