Sheba, I just scored some heat, yay! Hubs just turned it up for me. It’s been cold and rainy.
We need the rain. The Cat and Penguin were really adorable. All of the pictures are so nice to see. Maybe you need a trip somewhere warm, Hawaii? Someone, I am acquainted with went to a warm location on the Eastern side and never checked about safety. She said they go almost every year since they are from the East Coast. When I asked about the State Dept warnings or the spiked drinks, she was a blank (she had no idea). It all worked out well for her but she did say it’s too far now and she hopes to find somewhere else to visit. Did your neighbor enjoy the FL Keys? It’s a place I would like to see someday. Hope she feels better soon. I have heard the flu is worse than Covid this year.
Regarding bets, my thoughts were along the lines of who cooks for a week, cleans for a week etc… I wouldn’t know about online either. Sorry I wasn’t very clear.

Hi in snowy Oz.❄❄ I am hoping your power is on and you can at least keep warm. We had a little bit of everything today. Huge snowflakes this morning for a few minutes, wind and a peek of sun this afternoon and now a light rain that I hope doesn’t turn into freezing rain.

Hubs is feeling a little better today, I still feel okay so keeping my fingers crossed.🤞

The GIF yesterday of the cat with the baby seal stole my heart. So cute.

I am home today. It’s me with the Pepto. Yesterday, on my way to visit hubby, I made a detour to Culver’s. I picked up two vanilla double scoops of frozen custard. One was plain, the other with fudge. I also ordered a salad for me. Hubby had just finished dinner and reached for the custard with the fudge. He loved every morsel. I proceeded to eat the salad. It was excellent or so I thought. It was loaded with raisins. Less than an hour later I felt awful. Thought I was coming down with the flu. I left immediately. Didn’t even spend more than an hour. Tried to rush home, but all eight lights were red and one took over 20 minutes for a train to pass. I made it. Finally realized that I was having a sulfite attack and thus the Pepto along with allergy pills. I checked on the raisins and found that they are one of the worse for sulfite reactions. It is also known to be a killer in some instances. Never thought that sulfites could be a killer. Then, again, Strawberries are on the very top of the list for me. Have doctor appointments next month. Guess it is time to get an EpiPen just in case. Not sure if I will see hubby today. Not pushing.

Your professor friend is in Florida??? Flu and Covid are going around. I hope she is feeling better so she can return home asap. Nice hot soup is always a good cure, especially when you add veggies. I will be doing that shortly.

Good Afternoon in Florida enjoy your beautiful weather. 😎💕Oz is 18 degrees right now
with a ton of snow. No worries hubby has done the driveway and the sidewalk. We also
helped my friend across the street she has bronchitis real bad.

The Professor went to Key West Florida and a few days later got very ill. I am keeping an
eye on her as she lives alone.
