Conversation 28

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 28 out of the
series. I created and started this thread going on 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

NATIONAL RE-GIFTING DAY
Each year on the Thursday before Christmas, people across the United States participate in National Re-gifting Day. The day acknowledges the office parties and the unique Christmas gift exchanges that they do. This particular December Thursday appears to be the most common day for companies to hold their annual employee/company Holiday parties.

Oodie, glad you are able to look after your hubs so well.
Thought of you today on our Aldi’s trip. I saw Makuna Honey there for the 1st time and it was $10ish dollars. Not as high as some of our other markets.
Also, wanted to mention Colleen Lopez has added new colors to the Prestige Boxes.
I thought the coral would be nice with your turquoise colored one.
Take care and don’t forget to rest up. -
Sheba, not following the news is a healthy way to look out for your mental health. I tune out too sometimes. That is so sweet of your hubs to build a cat shelter. He must be creative like you to do so. I am realizing I am not as creative as I thought. Makes me laugh.
I can’t imagine where those cats are living but they must be good at survival along with your help.
Have a good evening. -

Peace Out Peeps enjoy your evening and stay warm. 😎

@Sheba
I arrived a few minutes ago from visiting hubby. Today I arrived before dinner was served. The RN last night mentioned he can eat regular food. I decided to see for myself. Dinner came a little after 5:30 pm. The main course consisted of one scoop of mashed potato with gravy and something that was pureed. That something was thinly scattered on his plate. Dessert was a small cup of vanilla ice cream. This meal was supposed to last until 8 am the following morning. I took a peek on the paper that comes with the meal. It stated pureed food, large helping. I hemmed and hawed and then marched down to the kitchen. I explained to one of the workers what was on his plate that did not coincide with the paper. I returned to hubby’s room to see what would happen. While waiting he mentioned that he had enough to eat. Hmm……A few minutes later a covered tray came in and it was completely full. A scoop of mashed potato with gravy. Sirloin hamburger with tons of dessert. He had apple juice, applesauce, chocolate pudding, yogurt, vanilla pudding and was told to eat what he could. He saved the yogurt for later. Sometimes it pays to open mouth and politely ask. Never saw such a huge happy hubby in a long time.
How did your SIL fair today with the chemo? It might help if she brought a DVD player so she can watch a video or an android. I am hoping she can tolerate the chemo and fight this disease tooth and nail as the saying goes. Laughter seems to be the best medicine to get through this thing..
Here’s to a nice evening, a good walk and the moonlight.
