Conversation 28
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 28 out of the
series. I created and started this thread going on 11 years. 😎🎈
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

GO CAROLING DAY
Tune-up your voice on December 20th so you can join others on Go Caroling Day! Caroling is the practice of singing Christmas songs from door to door as a form of celebration. The word carol means a joyful song or dance.

NATIONAL SANGRIA DAY
Across the nation each year on December 20th, National Sangria Day recognizes a wine and fresh fruit combination that brings a fresh celebration to the table.
Sangria is a beverage made with wine and sweetened with fresh fruit and fruit juices. Other ingredients can include herbs, spices, carbonation, and liquor. The combinations are endless, giving sangria a place in the cocktail rotation year-round. Refreshing and light during hot summer months, bright and sparkling during the winter ones, this fruity punch is quite versatile.

@sheba2011 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
Hello Sheba 🎅🎅🎅, I hope you are keeping warm. I am sure you are on Santa’s nice list. Are any of your children coming for Christmas?
I just finished wrapping up the bakes sweet goods I baked today. Tomorrow I want to make some more. I am trying a give a mixed box to Mty neighbors.
We have been warm and no rain. The full Moon was beautiful as always this month. I enjoyed looking at it from the front of the house early in the evening. To the back of the house on top of the trees.
Take care Sheba, stay warm and be careful walking in the snow and ice. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

I checked the Prestige boxes and could not find the salmon color. She probably did not have that many and it sold out. Oh well, I will keep checking. thanks for the head’s up.
On another note, Manuka Honey has many price points. This is due to their number system. The higher the number, the more $$$. Amazon is my go to place to see the differences and to read the reviews. I usually purchase the one that is numbered in the thousands. Each one has a different flavor to it. Best of all, it does clear the sore throats within hours. I’ve yet to pay full price. I wait for a sale. My two favorite words are: FREE and SALE.

The weather here is on the warm side with temps in the mid 70s. We will see 40s over the weekend. However, I have no idea what the temp was at the Rehab. Suffice to say I brought a winter jacket with me in case it was needed. And, within 15 minutes I put it on. Hubby’s roommate was wearing a hoodie sweatshirt. The hood was on top of his head and he was freezing. What surprised me was that no one checked on the patients or offered an extra blanket or two. Luckily, last year I picked up a sherpa blanket from Costco and that has helped quite a bit. Tonight I doubled it. I will be at Costco tomorrow for gas and will definitely go inside the warehouse to see if there are any blankets. If there are some sherpa’s will pick one up for his roommate. When I left, hubby looked much better. Me. I had to thaw in the car before driving home. My hands were like ice. It definitely didn’t help the backache.
Hubby’s dinner was pureed again. The RN would not let me give hubby a banana. Said I had to puree it. Watermelon also. I’m thinking of making a smoothie. Then again, maybe not. The rehab is too cold and this could make it worse. I really do not think anyone knows what type of food to serve. One RN at the beginning of the week mentioned that he was now eating regular food. Now I see puree. I will get to the bottom of this tomorrow. I will go to the kitchen for answers and to try to meet with the Speech Therapist.
Hope your evening is going well. Please try to stay warm. Take care and enjoy the moonlight.

Sheba, sounds like you have an athletic family. It’s good he still is active and can do all those activity’s. Hubs had a little Mtn Bike fall but he is ok just surprised as it doesn’t happen often.
I think he bruised his ribs on one side. He’ll be back biking next week.
Not really sure what we will do next week. This Holiday season came up on me fast. My son’s been busy at work so we need to check his schedule too.
What will you be doing?
Hope your SIL can enjoy the Holidays. -
Good afternoon, the cats are just too cute!🤗 Busy day in my house. Ran to the grocery store this morning, unloaded and put everything away, baked a pie, cut my husband’s hair, started to do a quick manicure and now getting ready to make chili for dinner.🤪 I will crash later on the couch.
Hope all is well in your house. We will have a cold weekend here with snow showers.🥶❄
Thanks for the Santa drink, I will enjoy it later.🎅 Stay warm, hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖
