Hi and good afternoon. The new microwave is now installed and doing great. You never know how you miss an appliance until it stops working. And, now, my stovetop cannot be used. Seems one of the new pans caused the glass top to not only have a hole but scratches all over in the area I use most often. Funny, I didn’t see this until just before the Technician arrived. I googled glass top stove to see if there is such a thing as a repair and found several which I will contact after Christmas. As the saying goes, “When it rains, it pours.”

Hubby is good. I was with him yesterday before dinner. He ate well, though the dessert could have been better. Just a small container of applesauce. He was still hungry. I had checked the drawer where I stash the cookies and all that was left were the containers. All but one can of soda was around. I no longer can bring food or soda nor am I permitted to eat in front of him. I am trying to meet with both the Social Worker and now the Speech Therapist. I now leave earlier which is before hubby is ready to fall asleep.

The other issue is the Drone that is on our street. I notified the next door neighbor who is a nurse and is affiliated with the Sheriff Department in our City. I also sent an e-mail to the office personnel. This may not be a student since this began about three weeks ago. I think most colleges started their intersession two weeks ago and the elementary and high schools began last Friday.

I know your SIL has her good and bad days. Hopefully, she will be able to enjoy both Christmas and the New Year’s celebrations. Some smoothie recipes may come in handy and of course soup as well. The most important part is keeping her spirits up. Of course losing some of those cancer cells or seeing them become smaller will also give her the lift she really needs and the incentive to muster on. .

Merry Christmas Eve to you, your children, hubby and Poppy. Poppy will again be the excited pup going from one to the other. A small, electric heater on your porch will certainly help to keep their food and drink from freezing. Weatherwise, it is warming up here. Temp today will be in the mid 70s and tonight high 50s to the low 60s. It is raining off and on. Hope this does not mean another cold front. Just returned home from being with hubby. Tomorrow, Christmas Day, I will be enjoying the meals with him. There was a package on his nightstand Christmas wrapped that he has yet to open. It will be interesting to see what is in the box. Seems heavy.

I hope and pray that you and hubby enjoy the Christmas season. I can bet that he will not be able to wait for the deliciousness you prepared. All your food sounds wonderful. I wish I could do the same.
