NATIONAL DRINKING STRAW DAY

On January 3rd National Drinking Straw Day commemorates the date in 1888 that Marvin C. Stone received the patent for the paper drinking straw. Since then, a variety of drinking straws are used.

NATIONAL CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY DAY

January 3 spotlights National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day and a favorite during many holidays. Furthermore, the National Confectioners Association has been known to recognize this day as an annual event.

Good evening we are all getting back on track from the time change and holidays. 😎🎈

I am thinking this is a weekend. I have seen the main media showing all that has happened
in the 48 hours. This is just too sad and for no reason. I will leave it at that and I am praying
for all affected by this senseless act.

I know your niece’s mom can’t wait for her to get home I think they wanted the show to go on.
We have to bounce back from things that make no sense.

Good evening and thank you for posting on the Heidi Daus Thread. I will be watching
Heidi Daus tomorrow here on HSN. 💕😎🎈I think @jadiva has a lot of HD too. We have
the same taste there are many Heidi Girls out there that love to hear her laughter and her
travels. 🎈😎I think this is a quality that makes her so unique.

Taci above is my bracelet from the “SERPENTINA” Suite by Heidi Daus. Hang on HSN
may get the bracelet. This is a killer I brought the entire Suite last year. 💕

We are all getting back on schedule with the holidays and time change. My sister’s will
leave LA tomorrow heading back to snowy Colorado. I know my niece will miss her mom.

I am concerned about my niece and nephew and my brother. My SIL had a grueling day
long Chemotherapy she is wiped out. I am so glad our kids are all helping keeping things
running smoothly. I would not wish this on my worse enemy I don’t dislike anyone on earth
that I would wish the pain and hades she is going through. We are all praying for her.
The kids are only 12 and 16 thank god they are doing alright. 💕😘

You know it may not change a thing but just watching and enjoying Heidi Daus work
her magic with her jewelry makes me feel good. 😘😎

Sheba, It’s been hard to track the days for me as well. I’ve been trying to get up earlier than my usual. I am a night person but with shorter daylight hours, and having stuff to do, thought I would try it. So far so good. During my work years, I started at 7am and it was no problem, but now I can start my days later. Hiked today earlier than usual and it was warm and sunny. Are your Sisters back home now or still visiting?
Thanks for the Heidi Posts update. I think I can watch her tomorrow. Yay!

Like you, I was thinking it was Friday, at least I was only one day off.🙄 We had a little snow and ice last night. Tomorrow morning is a “first alert” weather day. They are predicting 1-3″ of snow up until about noon.❄ Of course hubs has a doctor’s appointment and I have a hair appointment. I’m sure the roads will be taken care of, it’s getting down my driveway that’s tricky. I have no problem canceling and staying home.

I guess my niece is okay, I didn’t talk to her mom today. The game is on right now. I sure hope your SIL is able to handle the day.🙏💗🙏💗
