Conversation 25
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 25 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Sheba, yes, this week did go fast for me too. Sorry for the loss of a relative on your Dad’s side. Now i understand the tear picture posted above.
And just awful about your nephew having a biking accident. Best wishes for his recovery. Is this nephew in CO? Was he on a busy road or small Street? Hope he is ok.
We went and visited our neighbors who recently returned from seeing a few concerts in Vegas which included Ringo. Lucky them! Then once home I ended up doing a bit of cleaning.
I found some gross bugs hanging from the ceiling in the garage so I cleaned the whole area and tossed some itemsSad to hear about Ruidoso and all those fires. Sheba, I keep a go-box that I can grab near my bedroom door. I prepared it years ago when we had helicopters flying over the house and general area due to a fire in the next City. It was a big fire maybe there were two, I realized that my stuff was not together. It’s not a great go-box but it should help. Although it’s plastic (so I can carry it).
Have a great evening. -
♥ Love this!

Good evening in these parts the news media always talk about weather. I watch with
interest because they cover more then hot or cold they talk about the pollen and other
things that affect our health especially the sinus and lungs.Oodie when I had that bad fall during an Ice Storm I had not watched the news that
morning I knew something was strange when the school I can see from my home did
not have children or cars. I was not paying attention I was looking elsewhere and I went
from looking at the sky to hitting my head on Ice and Cement in front of my house. I was
stunned as I have never fallen before had I known it was Ice and there was a warning I
would not have went out. I had Poppy leash in my hand still and he did not try to run away.Poppy stayed right with me. Remember our son was still home and made me call my
doctor all the kids were on the phone and my doctor told me exactly what to do. My doctor
does not play around if you have a serious issue that may require medical attention she will
advise me to go straight to the ER. I watched for all the signs and I was fine all I had was
a goose egg bump. LOL! Hey it took a while for it to go away. I am thankful nothing else
was injured all that week I sent Poppy out in the back to his spot. My poor baby did the
best he could. So I take weather reporting very serious.Oodie I hope you had a good day. Hey @71flowerchild posted and I am very happy about
that. I was worried about them being in Ruidoso they are fine and so is their property but
others not so much. Prayers up for all affected by this fire.Enjoy the Strawberry Moon tonight. Waving. 😎

The first full moon of the summer is making its entrance in June also known as the “strawberry” moon.
This year’s strawberry moon is unique and more meaningful as it coincides with the summer solstice, a time of year with deep spiritual meaning for many cultures around the world who have celebrated the event over the years through hosting traditions or ritual ceremonies.
Celebrity astrologer Kyle Thomas, who is known for his cosmic guidance among celebrities, businesses and online influencers, spoke to “Good Morning America” about the best ways to take advantage of this energetic full moon.
But first, let’s break down the meaning of the strawberry moon.
When can you see the strawberry full moon in 2024?
The full moon will reach peak illumination in the United States on Friday, June 21, at 9:08 p.m., E.T., according to NASA.The moon will appear full for about three days around this time, from Thursday evening through Sunday morning, the agency said.
Why is it called the strawberry moon?
The Old Farmer’s Almanac, which first began publishing the names for the full moons in the 1930s, states that some Native American tribes named the full moon in June as the “strawberry moon” to match the short harvest season for strawberries.Alternative old European name for the moon in June is the “honey moon,” because honey was also often harvested around the end of June, NASA said.
Therefore, “honeymoon,” the word that is traditionally used to describe the first month of marriage, may have a connection to this full moon due to the popularity of weddings being held in June.
However, NASA explained, other theories suggest that the word “honeymoon” came from the custom of gifting newlyweds mead, a drink made with fermented honey, to enjoy during their first month of marriage.
Meanwhile, other tribe also reportedly referred to the full moon as birth moon, egg laying moon and hatching moon to highlight the beginning of new life, the Old Farmer’s Almanac said.
How often is the full moon on the summer solstice?
The chance of the full moon falling on the same day as summer solstice is very rare. This year’s strawberry moon arrives just one day after summer solstice takes place, which is on Thursday, June 20.
However, some reports said the last time the solstice full moon happened was in 2016, and some said it last occurred in 1986 or even in 1967.

Hello Sheba,
I haven’t posted in so long, I’m not sure where this will show up.
I do check in from time to time and happened to see what you wrote about our New Mexico cabin.
Our little neighborhood community in Ruidoso has been devastated by the current wildfires. 18 homes were lost, 4 ok that we know of and 4 unsure of.
We were getting ready to leave home to go up there by end of June, so we weren’t there yet, but most of the Texas neighbors were already there. On Monday, they and the full time residents received the Evacuation notice.
I’ve talked with most of them and their stories are horrific and absolutely heartbreaking.
Our home is one of the 4 that survived. One of the neighbors stayed in the Walmart parking lot on the outskirts of town and drove back into the neighborhood the next morning before the roads were closed off and took pictures.
We are thankful everyone and fur babies got out safely.
Im sorry my first post back is a sad one.
