Conversation 24
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 24 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

NATIONAL PRIME RIB DAY
National Prime Rib Day annually recognizes this special meal favorite on April 27th each year. Sometimes known as the “King of Meats,” Prime Rib is a choice cut from one of the eight prime cuts of beef.
A rubbed-on seasoned and then slow-roasted prime rib will give you a deliciously tender, tasty main course. Find many recipes and helpful “how to cook prime rib” guides on the internet for all to use. Some of the most common seasons used include garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, onion, oregano, and thyme.
Depending on your preference, you might choose to serve your prime rib with fresh vegetables such as asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, or Brussel sprouts. A variety of potatoes complement prime rib, too. Whether you like mashed, baked, or roasted potatoes, they will pair well with this hearty meal. Add a light salad or pasta dish, too. Don’t forget to serve your favorite wine or beer. Your guests will appreciate it.
Finish off the meal with a fruit-topped dessert. It’s definitely a meal worthy of a celebration!

On the last Saturday in April, Independent Bookstore Day brings together the celebration of classics, entrepreneurship and the joy of browsing through aisles of books.
Make your way down to your locally owned bookstore where the shop owner knows your interests. Chat with other bibliophiles over collections or discover a new favorite. Introduce nieces and nephews to your childhood favorites and let them wow you with their knowledge of the latest trilogies. Get lost in biographies or historical fiction while debating the value of a mint condition cookbook from the 1860s.
HOW TO OBSERVE INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY
Independent bookstores offer a peaceful place and a community often filled with local authors and voices who share stories. Visit your local independent bookstore and discover more for your imagination. Use #IndependentBookstoreDay to share on social media.
HISTORY
Samantha Schoech founded Independent Book Store Day in 2014 celebrate the passionate booksellers and readers who love them.

Finally, after who knows how many months, van is here. The color is different, and, I must admit, I like it. It took over three hours to get the ride from Uber. Each time I phoned the Service Department, they would say the car would be here in five minutes. This is the last time I will ever use this dealership.
Did visit hubby. I was surprised to see that his roommate was nowhere to be seen. I assume he is in the hospital. Hubby said he had no idea he had left the room. I surmise that they had closed the curtains so that he couldn’t see him leave. When I asked where he was, no one seemed to know. His personal items were still in the room and his bed was made as if he would be returning. Very sad.

To My Father In Heaven Happy Birthday.
Papa, Can You Hear Me?
SongGod – our heavenly Father
Oh God – and my father
Who is also in heaven
May the light
Of this flickering candle
Illuminates the night the way
Your spirit illuminates my soul
Papa, can you hear me?
Papa, can you see me?
Papa, can you find me in the night?
Papa, are you near me?
Papa, can you hear me?
Papa, can you help me not be
Frightened?
Looking at the skies
I seem to see a million eyes
Which ones are yours?
Where are you now that yersterday
Has waved goodbye
And closed its doors?
The night is so much darker.
The wind is so much colder
The world I see is so much bigger
Now that I’m alone
Papa, please forgive me
Try to understand me
Papa, don’t you know I had no choice?
Can you hear me praying
Anything I’m saying
Even though the night is filled
With voices?
I remember ev’rything you thaught me
Every book I’ve ever read
Can all the words in all the books
Help me to face what lies ahead?
The trees are so much taller
And I feel so much smaller
The moon is twice as lonely
And the stars are half as bright
Papa, how I love you.
Papa, how I need you.
Papa, how I miss you
Kissing me goodnight -

Hi in Oz. Good luck with the weather, we have had so much rain and wind this month.⛈ And lots of flooding. Stay safe and hope you don’t lose electricity.
Went out today and bought three hanging flower baskets and two aloe plants that I have to re-pot for the back deck.🌺🌼🌸 Will do the front next month so all the deer can have a feast. No time to cook dinner so the pizza is ordered.🍕
Good luck to your family’s team.🏀 We don’t have a NBA team either so I’m not too into basketball.
Prayers for your dad tomorrow.🙏 Enjoy your pineapple upside down cake and I will enjoy the cheesecake whatever kind it is.🍰 Love and hugs to you, Poppy and the kitties.🤗💖
