Conversation -23
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 23 out of the
series. I created and started this thread 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

TEN MINUTES AGO
LYRICS BY OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II MUSIC BY RICHARD RODGERSTen Minutes Ago I saw you,
I looked up when you came through the door
My head started reeling, You gave me the feeling
The room had no ceiling or floor.
Ten Minutes ago, I met you
And we murmered our how-do-you do′s,
I wanted to ring out the bells and fling out my arms
And to sing out the news.
I have found her! She’s an angel
With the dust of the stars in her eyes.
We are dancing, we are flying
And she′s taking me back to the skies.
In the arms of my love I’m flying
Over mountain and meadow and glen
And I like it so well that for all I can tell
I may never come down again! I may never come down to earth again.
Ten Minutes Ago I met you,
And we murmered our how-do-you do’s
I wanted to ring out the bells and fling out my arms
And to sing out the news
I have found her!
I have found him!
He′s the light of the stars in my eyes
We are dancing
We are flying
And she′s taking me back to the skies
In the arms of my love I’m flying
Over mountain and meadow and glen
And I like it so well that for all I can tell
I may never come down again
I may never come down to earth again -
This is one of my mother’s favorite movies I can sing it to perfection. 🎶🎶
In My Own Little Corner
Song by Piano and Richard RodgersI’m as mild and as meek as a mouse
When I hear a command I obey
But I know of a spot in my house
Where no one can stand in my way
In my own little corner
In my own little chair
I can be whatever I want to be
On the wing of my fancy
I can fly anywhere
And the world will open its arms to me
I’m a young Norwegian princess or a milkmaid
I’m the greatest prima donna in Milan
I’m an heiress who has always had her silk made
By her own flock of silkworms in Japan!
I’m a girl men go mad for, love’s a game I can play
With a cool and confident kind of air
Just as long as I stay
In my own little corner
All alone
In my own
Little chair
I can be whatever I want to be
I’m a thief in Calcutta
I’m a queen in Peru
I’m a mermaid dancing upon the sea
I’m a huntress on an African safari
(It’s a dangerous kind type sport and yet it’s fun)
In the night I sally forth to seek my quarry
And I find I forgot to bring my gun!
I am lost in the jungle
All alone and unarmed
When I meet a lioness in her lair!
Then I’m glad to be back
In my own little corner
All alone
In my own
Little chair -

Let It Go
Song by Idina MenzelThe snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I’m the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried
Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don’t care what they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
It’s funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
I’m free
Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You’ll never see me cry
Here I stand and here I stay
Let the storm rage on
My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back, the past is in the past
Let it go, let it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway -

Good afternoon to you. Chilly, rainy day, storm tonight and we may get some snow tomorrow.🌧❄ Little bit of everything except heat and sun.
Taking care of tasks around the house all day. Hockey team traded away my favorite player so I am boycotting the game this afternoon.😣 Going nowhere this season anyway so no big deal.
I didn’t know today was National Crab Meat day.🦀 I had crab cakes yesterday so celebrated a day early. Making pizza for dinner today.🍕
Hope spring is coming your way (except for the itch.)🌷🌻🌼 After this weekend it looks like a pretty nice week ahead here. Hugs coming back to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Serving Your Community
Being of service to our community is part of being a good citizen of the planet Earth.
To live harmoniously, we need to be supportive and helpful to all people, creatures, and plant life that share this Earth with us. While “being of service” is part of being a good citizen of the world, it also feels good to help others. When we do something for others in service without the expectation of anything in return, we are turning our actions into offerings. You can give service to your community through many ways. There are the obvious and much needed volunteer opportunities, such as serving Thanksgiving dinner at a shelter, mentoring youth, or cleaning up a beach. Then, there is the kind of service that we may not even think of as being acts of service. Learning a new language (perhaps sign language) so that you can talk to more people is a way to reach out to others. Inviting someone who isn’t motivated enough to exercise on their own to join you on your daily walk is a way to give of yourself. Sharing flowers or vegetables from your garden, organizing a poetry reading, offering to babysit for a busy parent, or donating pet food to an animal shelter are all simple ways to offer your services to your community.
You can serve the world through different paths. Imagine the impact we would have on the environment if we picked up one piece of trash off the street every day and chose not to drive our car once a week. Even gardening tactics such as throwing wildflower seeds onto a vacant lot can brighten the lives of others — including the lives of birds and insects. Every day, you can do something to make this world a better place. During meditation, ask for guidance on what you can do to be of service. This can be a wonderful way to start your day. Smiling at a stranger who looks down in the dumps or teaching neighborhood kids how to whistle will impact someone’s day or even their life. Giving of yourself is the best gift that you can give. AMEN!

Good afternoon in the ‘burgh. 😘🎈😎I hope your family is feeling better.
Lady how are you? I did some work earlier in the week in the backyard and now
for the last three days I have an itch. I think from now on I will wear my garden gloves
and clothing. The itch was insane and it is on my arm and hand. I have used creams
and it seems to be getting better. So with Spring around the corner be careful doing your yards. Hey remember
Spring forward. 😎Sending warm hugs to you and Jake. 😘🎈
