Conversation – 22
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 22 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Happy New Year to you and yours. May it be filled with love, good health and loads of laughs. I wish the same to your sister and mom. Hopefully, by the time they are ready for that cruise, the temps will be a bit warmer. Normally, I am home on New Years, but this year I want to be with hubby and that means a drive. I do not want him missing out on anything and therefore will do what I can to make tomorrow a bit brighter. Hopefully, he will be home soon. I should have some news on Friday when we see the orthopedist. Stay warm and have a great evening.

Happy New Year to you and your family. May it be a Healthy one with new discoveries and awesome trails. I am hoping hubby will be home soon. I will know better when we meet with the orthopedist on Friday.
I also enjoy watching Jay King. He makes you feel that you are living in those caves as he looks for the stones that will become our dream pieces. By the way Heidi’s website has 50% off everything. In some cases you need to search for the item or items. Somehow she missed a couple. Anyway, just in case I miss something with Jay, I put a few in my favorites.
There is much to do in Florida. I enjoy it more when there is no heat or humidity and being outside is a pleasure and not a curse. Though it is now cold here during the day and in the evening, it doesn’t last long. Although I do remember one year when we were hit with real cold temps and the iguanas were frozen and falling from trees. Most survived since there were people around who knew what to do.

Wishing you and your family good health in the New Year. A year full of laughter and enjoyment. A year to be thankful that your hubby is OK.. I wish you the best. of everything.

Happy New Year to you and your family as well. May 2024 bring you and your family good health and may it bring many smiles and laughter.
Under the previous management, there was a way we could e-mail people through an HSN app within Community. It was fun and a good way to meet. As soon as the new owners (actually part of the original) took over it was gone. Over the years quite a bit has changed and not all for the better. Anyway, this market is quite large, but, may be smaller than Publix or Krogers. It seems that with all the new places that this family opens, they are larger than the previous one. I know they want to head North and at this time not sure if it would be St.Pete, Tampa or Northport. I think all 3 would be closer to you. You need to look above you as well. Above and to the sides are handmade drawings. The artistry is amazing. Almost like you are in a barn or a farmhouse. The management and the employees are friendly and helpful. It’s a joy to shop at any of their markets. Checkout takes no time. Oh, forgot to mention that they make their own ice cream and you have a choice of regular or sugar free. And, on the sugar free, there are many varieties. They even have places to sit and to enjoy whatever. The tables are for everyone and so you will be seeing new faces and making new friends. They are closed on Sundays. They are opened on New Year’s Day. By the way, their hours are from 8am-8pm Mon. thru. Sat.. They also have specials they run on Mon. and Tues. or Fri. and Sat.. Love this market and you will also. Cannot wait for you to try them.
It’s getting late and again be safe tomorrow. I will be visiting hubby during the day and will leave early. I hope not to see any driver that is unable to steer correctly. You never know. My cell will be out just in case. Just wish I could be with hubby to bring in the New Year at midnight. We will definitely be looking forward to the day he returns home.

Wishing you and your family (even the furry ones) a Healthy (most important) and a Happy (smiles and laughter great for whatever ails you) New Year. Hope 2024 brings you everything you all desire and then some.
I ordered out again tonight and had it delivered to the Rehab. For the first time I am trying a seafood pizza and a side order of their salad one each. I have to admit this surpassed my expectations. I thought the seafood would just be shrimp. No. It was there but so was calamari, clams and other fish thrown in. I have to say it was delicious. Never tried the salad. I asked for small and I am positive these were large. They make their own salad dressing and it will definitely be good tomorrow. I will be reheating the pizza and will wrap it in aluminum foil to keep it warm. I am sure hubby will like it and if not, back to the frig. Their salad is different. Not just lettuce and tomato, but other things as well.
I waited a good half hour for the delivery. By the time it came I could not find hubby. He was not in his room and it was past the time he would have been in the dining room. I did check the living room/tv area as well. Finally, I had to ask where he was. Well, one of the nurse’s decided to check the bathroom in his room, which is shared with four men. He was sitting on the thrown. How he got to that point is beyond me. This guy cannot stand or walk and the physical therapy unit at the rehab said he had plateaued. Crazy isn’t it. Well, starting Tuesday there will be a lot of arguing on my end to get him help. He could have fallen. What is worse, there is no way for anyone to call for help in that bathroom. That I will certainly take up with the Health Department and our Health Insurance. Tomorrow I will take pictures of that area to prove my point. You know, the hospitals all have ways to contact the nurses as well as bars to help one get to the area they need. When he finally came out, he was huffing and puffing. He was sorry in a sense that he tried this on his own. Thankfully, he seems to be all right. I just hope he will be OK. I didn’t like the way he was breathing. Not like him. Sorry I am venting. I just hope and pray that others are following what is going on here and will take notice. Hopefully, hubby will be home soon. Other than that I am OK.

I worked with Ella Fitzgerald we did a weekend show I was very young Ella sang
this song and blew me away. What a sweet women and so nice. 😘😎 This is my
New Year’s Eve Song and I have been doing this for years. 😘😎I worked with Ella and many
of the greats who were part of my Philharmonic Orchestra Days. 💕🎈What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve
Song by Ella FitzgeraldWhen the bells all ring and the horns all blow
And the couples we know are fondly kissing
Will I be with you or will I be among the missing?
Maybe it’s much too early in the game
Ah, but I thought I’d ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year’s, New Year’s eve?
Wonder whose arms will hold you good and tight
When it’s exactly twelve o’clock that night
Welcoming in the New Year, New Year’s Eve?
Maybe I’m crazy to suppose
I’d ever be the one you chose
Out of the thousand invitations you received
Ah, but in case I stand one little chance
Here comes the jackpot question in advance
What are you doing New Year’s, New Year’s Eve?
Ah, but in case I stand one little chance
