I admire your dedication with walking in the cold. That was always my excuse for not taking a walk. Now I take a five second step onto the deck – if any inch of me feels cold, I’m staying in the house.🤣 Also, the knees aren’t what they used to be.🦵

Glad your New Year’s eve went well. Sounds like everyone was celebrating with noise in your neighborhood. Happy the Chiefs won their division, keeping fingers crossed for the playoffs.🤞

Hubby is doing OK. His mind has changed since the surgery in November. This is a good thing. He is back joking around and being himself. I agree he should play a piano more. We do have a couple here that are relatively easy to carry and have a good tone. I often want to bring it with me, but he insists that I leave it at home. So be it.

One of the nurse’s aides blasted him yesterday for using the bathroom on his own. I agreed with her, but she should understand the circumstances. Hubby is tired of not being able to do things on his own and I think he is testing the waters. At the same time he is showing the Phy sical Therapy Unit a reason to resume the exercises. I am hoping that the orthopedist will do something about this even if it with his group next door. If the rehab cannot drive him to the scheduled date, then I guess I will contact the med group that will. I have had to fight every inch of the way for all that has helped him. To think what I had to do to find an Urologist and then go through the testing and the ifs prior to surgery. What a difference in him without that catheter. And what a blessing to see him change.

I didn’t return to the Farmer’s Market following my hair appointment. In all honesty, I was too hungry and needed some ME time. For some reason the microwave is working OK, but I still need a new dishwasher. New ad comes out on Thursday. Also have my eye on a dining table for o utdoors. Will order it when I’m at Lowes for a dishwasher. The dollar store. Oops, I mean the now dollar and a quarter store had empty shelves. They had one person at the register and that was that. I will take the longer ro ute to rehab in order to try another location.

It is cold here also with temps in the low 60s. Tonight it will be in the low 40s. That is almost equivalent to what you are feeling in Oz. I hope your son is still enjoying being home with you three. Before I forget. The sunroom picture of what you would like in Colorado is very similar to the backyard at our home in Ct… It’s very tranquil even with all the animals. I will definitely miss this backyard when we sell. It has always been my favorite spot.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Give a huge hug to Poppy from me and maybe a treat. You would have loved my sweater from yesterday. that was purchased on HSN many years ago when the vendor was from Vermont. The sweater is all about dogs, with names, bones and other treats.

Good day in the ‘burgh. 😘😉😎You made me laugh yeah Poppy is wearing his booties.
My baby feet gets cold on the snow and ground. I have to wrap up real good so I am nice
and warm. I am not alone when outside this is dog country here in Kansas. Everyone is out
walking their fur babies. 😉😎💕

I have a very brisk walk I just walk fast because I am used to walking at a fast pace.
I have to remember Poppy has to keep up with me so I slow it down a bit. LOL!

Good morning in California. 😉😎Taci you slept 12 hours wow what does that feel like?
I think all the hiking you do and running around caught up with you. I love it when I can
manage to get 12 hours. Taci it’s not often but when I do I feel fantastic.

I have had a great time in parts of my life and those were one of the times. Taci that little
speck of time and with great people taught me so much. All of them were like you grandparents.
I still talk to some of my friends from the Orchestra we talk about those days and I wish
I could go back just to feel that way again. 😎

The New Year’s Eve Party was great and I wore some Heidi Daus Red Swarovski everything
from head to toe. 🎈

Taci this is the Suite I wore on New Year’s Eve do you remember when I posted this
on a Heidi Daus Thread years ago? I have the matching earrings, ring and bracelet. 💕🎈😎

Taci I also have this necklace in Blue. 😎 I have posted a lot of my personal Heidi Daus here on HSN.

I wore all red hubby said my legs look great well all the walking and then some I do I hope so.

No worries we made it home before all the fireworks and other things really took off it was
loud. Poppy greeted us at the front door. LOL! 😎😘

Good afternoon on the Gulf Coast of Florida. 😎😉Oodie glad you got some good rest
on your new mattress. Great that your husband is making strides that is a good thing.

My friend/neighbor New Year’s Eve Party went very well. We lingered a bit with our masks.
The shooting started very early in these parts things were going off at 9:15 p.m.

Oodie the all that noise did not stop until after 2:00 a.m. Poppy slept through it all once
we got in the house. I now know what a war zone sounds like and may I never see the real
thing.

The moon was fantastic and I slept like a baby. 💕😉

Oodie I know you are off and running let me know how things go for you and hubby
today. I am looking forward to him going home.

I had a good time at the New Year’s Eve Party just two doors down. We do this every single
year. The thing that surprised me were people were shooting of guns at 9:00 p.m. now
that is three hours before it’s time to let out the works. I mean it kept going on for hours.

I stayed a bit with my mask then hubby and I walked home believe me Poppy was at the
door when we came home. LOL!

I hope this year will be a great one for us all. 😉😘😎I broke my own cycle by going to
Colorado and I am so glad I did. The nasty Viruses are back. Yikes!

I can’t wait to go back when the weather is better. I talked to so many family members yesterday my phone was off the chain so many phone calls. 😎😘😉
