I also want to wish you a very happy belated birthday. I did not forget. ✨

Oodie I was out with Poppy the other day and we had Ice I fell and hit the back of my
head all I have is a goosebump. ✨😎 Thank god I am strong and agile. I never saw it
coming. Poppy did not leave me he stayed with me and no one was home on my block
when it happened. I am thankful I am alright.

Please let me know how you and hubby are doing. I have missed the Community but I
had plenty to do I was not bored.

Today, we celebrate the 37th anniversary of the single “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me), released on January 23, 1987. Sanged by one of the greatest and powerful duets of all time, bringing together two of pop and soul’s most iconic stars George Michael and Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. The song was written by Simon Climie and Dennis Morgan and produced by Narada Michael Walden. The song went to number one in both the UK and US. The song was so popular George Michael and Aretha Franklin even won The 1987 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with vocal. George Michael achieve his ambition to sing with one of his favorite artists. It was George’s third consecutive number one after “Careless Whisper” and a “Different Corner”. It also helped make him a huge solo star in the US, as it came out just before his debut album “Faith”. For Aretha Franklin, it was amazingly her only UK number one single. Aretha loved working with George she said about him “the first time l heard George was with Wham and l liked it then. He had a very unique sound, very different from anything that was out there”. ❤️
