Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 22 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Hope you three are OK, and the roof holds. I just wanted to check on you three.

All I can say is, “Welcome Back.” I was worried and concerned. Not like you to skip posting, even when you’ve been under the weather. Don’t rush to do things. All cleaning can wait for better days.
-
Just like old times, I wrote a note and it went into thin air never to be seen or read.
I am glad that your son decided to stay through February. With the weather forever changing, I am glad he decided to stay. But you three will again be facing an empty nest. Don’t know who will feel it more. At the same time, thankful that the kitties are OK. I wonder where they go to keep warm.
Hubby is doing good. I left early yesterday because I needed to repair a shelf in the linen closet where I keep the towels. Seems I was too heavy in the cleaning process with Clean Boss and knocked the holders on one side out. I worked for over two hours to no avail and consequently left later than I wanted to. I told hubby about the incident and he wanted me to wait for his return and he would fix it. I left a little early and when I arrived home took a measurement of both areas. Found the holders on the left were good to go. The ones on the right, the holes were not aligned properly. Looked for a hammer and couldn’t locate where it was, so took a long nail and used the side of a showerhead and was able to make a new hole. Never dented the showerhead. Guess the Moen’s are made well. (LOL). The towels are now where they belong and I hit the sack at 3 am.
Weather has been on the cool side. Temps are between 55 and 60 degrees during the day. Nighttime lows have been in the low to mid 40s. It was raining tonight when I left hubby. Not complaining. We definitely need this rain event. Speaking of the weather, I am concerned with Taci. I hope they are OK and safe. Many are without power. Many were evacuated. And of course, I also remember pitman. I am also concerned with Shoelady. I wonder if she has Covid or just a virus. Hope we will hear from her soon.
Stay warm. Stay safe.

Shoelady, Hope you feel better soon! By the way, I barely know who some of the Singer/Actors are as well.

Sheba, Hello. Doing good this rainy day. My son said being in Spain helped his Spanish speaking and he is understanding and speaking it better. He also said the food was a lot cheaper and better, meaning less sugar in everything. We have too much sugar and processed foods here.
Awesome your son is able to stay so long. Working from home has its benefits. I did it too back in the day before it was popular. Basically my office grew and they wanted volunteers to work from home, being 1 hour away I jumped at the opportunity. -
Good afternoon in Oz. Thanks for the well wishes, this has been a long one. I am feeling a little better and eating a little more. I haven’t done anything for at least a week because I have no energy.🙁 Decided to start drinking some OJ each day for some sugar and also one or two pieces of candy. So I did a few chores today – like starting from scratch.😕
The only thing that I felt like eating yesterday was Chicken McNuggets. It has been many, many years since I had those but they popped into my head. I just figured not too overpowering or heavy. Hubs went and got me some and they were delicious. So he went and got me more today. Have to try adding to my diet gradually. Did not go to the PCP. Tired of seeing people I don’t even know. Sure hope your daughter is getting a little better each day.🤞 I will say a prayer.🙏
Started watching the Grammy’s, saw about the first half, fell asleep😴, woke up around 11:00 and went to bed. Not too bad but I don’t know who half the people are. Guess that’s called old age.🤣
Going to get me some chicken pieces, warm hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Noise as a Distraction
Distracting yourself with social media and television can become mind-numbing, if not taken in moderation.
Our lives are typically filled with noise. There are the noises from the outside world that we cannot control, and there are the noises we allow into our lives. These noises, from seemingly innocuous sources like the television and radio, can actually help us avoid dealing with uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. However, using noise as a distraction hurts more than it helps because you are numbing yourself to what may be internally bubbling up to the surface for you to look at and heal. Distracting yourself with social media, television, or other background noises can also prevent you from finding closure to issues that haunt you.
Noise as a distraction can affect us in many ways. It can help you stay numb to emotions that you don’t want to feel, allow you to avoid dealing with problems, distract you from having to think, and make it easier for you to forget reality. Drowning out the thoughts and emotions you find uncomfortable or overwhelming can complicate your issues because it allows them to fester. By tuning out noise and relishing silence, you create the space to experience and express what you are hiding. It is only then that self-exploration can begin in earnest and you can stare down frightening issues. In silence, it becomes easier to let your strongest feelings come forth, deal with them, and find new ways of resolving your problems.
When you go within without the veil of noise to shield you from yourself, you’ll be able to figure out what you need to heal. Embracing silence and introspection allows you to work through your thoughts and emotions and transmute them. Free of the need for noise, you can accept your pain, anger, and frustration as they come up and turn them into opportunities to evolve.

Good morning Taci how are you doing today? A big welcome back home to your son. 🎈😎
Hey no matter where he went in Spain I am sure he has stories to tell. Our son will be leaving at the end of February his stay was longer due to things happening.
I am so glad he works remote it is good to have him home. I am sure his girlfriend will be
waiting for him when he returns to GA. 💕🎈We had so much happen during his stay and I thank god he was able to come because
while we were in Colorado we had major snow and cold here I am thinking the cats.
Our son took care of them and even filmed them. If a pipe had burst we would have never
known it. I am glad Poppy was safe and at home. Well the fall on Ice I had did not help
so he said he will leave at the end of the month so we can Super Bowl together and celebrate
his birthday which is this month. Funny how things turned out to me it is a blessings.
This was only supposed to be a one month stay but three months is not so bad and so
much happened during this time. We will miss him for sure when he leaves. Our daughter with Covid is doing better it was a bumpy ride for a few days now she is
getting back to basics. Taci this is her first time having it and I hope it’s the last time. Those Jackets I brought here on HSN from Iris Apfel are coming in handy my goodness
we have been cold. I also brought some Patricia Nash Gloves. I dress to the 9’s just to
go walking with Poppy and I dress Poppy too. LOL!Hey Happy Trails To You. 🎶🎶Be careful too.

to just run and be free.Oodie how are you doing I know there is a lot on your plate. I would just take one step

Good afternoon in sunny Florida. 😎🎈I enjoyed the Grammy Award Show I think it
was well done. I was not surprised Taylor Swift won a big deal. Xango she was winning
way before she met Travis. I hope next week goes great for us.How are you feeling today? if your issues persist I would call your PC and just let them
know what is going on.Daughter is a bit better today. I was stressed out for the past few days wishing I was there
to help her. We have two other daughters that live there so she is being taken care of and
my sister lives there with her family not to mention cousins. Our son is here until the end of the month. This was not planned it just happened the
freezing weather had a bit to do with it but when I fell on the Ice he decided to be here
a bit longer. Son will go back at the end of the month. I have often said I wish all four of
our children could come back home. We miss them at the table or in the yards. 😘Oz is very cold today I am so glad I have jackets and coats to wear.
How is your niece doing? I don’t think Covid will ever go away. Sigh..
Hey wishing you and hubby a nice Monday. 💕🎈😘
