Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 20 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you for posting I feel better now that things are alright. I hope you met with
the case manager. I am glad you got some rest. -
On Sunday I happened to be looking at the window from hubby’s bedside and there was water everywhere. I didn’t know if it was the condensation from the A/C so took a closer look. We were getting a real downpour. Some much needed rain approached. I did a victory dance, well so to speak.
I am writing this early Tuesday morning. For once I fell asleep in bed, but awoke to get a few bottles of water from the van and also the ice pak in the food carrier. The one thing I have to say is that hubby’s mind is working good. However, he cannot focus on the clock or the TV since his glasses are at rehab. Maybe that’s a good thing. He was asleep when I arrived which was just after 4 pm. I noticed a food tray on his table and I opened it and it was still quite warm. Looked at the sheet and saw it was lunch. Hmmm……..I wiggled a toe and he opened his eyes. I said “Hi.” He forgot that it was Yom Kippur and though I had the Kindle, we decided to forego the service this one time. I told him he missed lunch and I rang for the nurse to sit him upright. He ate the whole meal. There was not one morsel left. He also ate his full dinner an hour and a half later. Dinner was a meatloaf with mashed potatoes. He gave me a smidgen of the meatloaf to try and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. I think after my doctor appointment I will meander to the cafeteria to see what they have for takeout. The cook, chef or whatever is doing a great job. The food not only looks appetizing, but is great for the palate.
Hubby was great today. He is on a discharge notice but needs to be evaluated by his physicians as well as the physical therapy unit. I will be going direct to the hospital after my doctor appointment since it is part of the medical building. Walking from the van to hubby’s room is a real long walk and is doing me good. Complained to myself only on the first day. I need to exercise more and this is a great start. I also noticed that hubby was off oxygen today. I hope to meet with the case manager this afternoon. Not sure if he will be returning to the Rehab at this time. May be going somewhere else. I hope it isn’t a Convalescent Home or Assisted Living. Now, to return to bed. I need some shut eye.
