Conversation – 20
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 20 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Hello Taci, thank you 😊. Not what I had in mind as my 37th celebration. But life comes at you when you least expect 😌. I am worse than a child when it comes to being sick or injured. Right now it’s one day at a time.
I miss not being able just to walk to the bathroom, let alone into the kitchen and cook something. Or bake my breads, or walk out the patio door and enjoy the outside some.
Take care Taci. -

On the vacs. I am on the fence as well. I didn’t get the last one because it seemed more people got covid even after, so much so that I let it go. May do the same for this one. Just not sure of the side effects.
Hubby is now in rehab and physical therapy will begin on Thursday. Your trip is coming up soon. I wish you safe travels. Pack masks just in case along with vitamins. If anything the vitamins will help your immune system. Don’t forget those comfortable shoes for your tours and long hikes. Have a great time.

I missed your posts and thought you were away celebrating your anniversary. Even so you usually post. So sorry to hear what happened. I can feel your pain. Thank goodness nothing broken. But the muscle spasms almost as bad. I wish I lived closer so I could help in some way. The couch doesn’t t give you the support that is necessary. A board may help until you make it to bed. An air mattress could also help. I’m looking at those walk in tubs for.both of us. Not sure if I will actually go that route. Just thinking. But the air mattress is something I am really considering and they come in different heights and are also self inflated and deflated. Thank goodness you always plan ahead. Just take it easy. Don’t push.

Sheba, hello! Saw your message from yesterday as well. Have to admit I could do without another rattler, bob cat, coyote sighting. The coyotes were howling away as I was leaving, and some people were just beginning their activities. It’s cooled down nicely.
Regarding the Heidi set you posted of the skylines, WOWZA! The bracelet is my favorite.
I’m sure you will love the set.
Glad you have plans in the works.
There are lots of questions about this years vax. Or maybe there always was and now I am researching it more? I don’t know. We won’t be able to get it before leaving so I am pretty sure I am skipping it and the rsv. My friend who is a survivor with many or most family members in the medical world is getting both vax’s.
Let me know what you find.
Take care out there. -
xango, sorry to read of your accident. Hope you are feeling better and glad you are home.
It was interesting that you mentioned so many drug overdoses and that they were getting priority care. They must have been in a life or death situation. I just don’t understand the allure of drugs. Ruins everything in its wake. Some people must be in a lot of pain and also have addiction genes. Anyway, maybe drug OD’s and issues need a separate facility.
When my husband was in a hospital room over 20 years ago, they were overcrowded ( people were in hallways too) and a felon was put in the back part of the same room and the cops were telling him to behave and fortunately he did. Since then a new hospital has been built in the area. It’s huge.
Hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs. -
Peace Out Peeps enjoy your evening.

a great time in our region. I would have loved to be at the Eats he took her to and I have
been there many times. WE shall see how this plays out. I wish every Game Day was like

I cannot believe what happened to you. OMG! The pain you must be in.
I would have taken the Morphine they can give you a smaller dose just enough
to be comfortable I think no food or anything to drink would have done me in.I knew something was going on I always have these gut feelings. Thank god you have
Prince Charming to help you. I am so glad he was there with you. Kudos on the new
car that you can ride in comfort. I wish I could give you a hug.Don’t do anything smart of you to have food frozen and ready to prep for meals.
I am just glad you will be alright.I think your husband may feel your pain. How are you feeling tonight? Prayers up
that this too shall pass my friend. -
@Shoelady
Hi, thank you for your prayers. I know it’s a powerful tool.
I was reading through the posts. I hope you are feeling better.
I must admit, it was not what I thought we would be doing this year for our anniversary. Since hubby had his triple bypass last year, I thought we could celebrate this year properly.
Here’s wishing you recover from your virus quickly.
Take care 🌹
