Conversation – 20

Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 20 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

When Doors Open
Our lives are the result of all the doors we have walked through, and our continued growth depends on our willingness to keep moving into new spaces.
When a door opens, walk through it. Trust that the door has opened for a reason and you have been guided to it. Sometimes we have a tendency to overanalyze or agonize over the decision, but it is quicker to simply go through the door and discover what’s there as that’s the only way to know. Even if it doesn’t seem right at first, opening this door may lead to another door that will take us where we need to go.
Doors open when the time is right for us to enter a new space, metaphorically speaking, and we can have faith that walking through is the right thing to do. Sometimes we linger in the threshold because we are afraid of leaving our old life for a life we know nothing about. We may have voices inside of our heads that try to hold us back or people in our lives saying discouraging things. These voices, internal and external, are known as threshold spirits, and they express all the fears and doubts that arise at the beginning of a new life. Nevertheless, none of these voices can hold us back, and they will fall silent as soon as we cross the threshold.
There are many doors that open in the course of our lives, leading us into new relationships, jobs, friendships, and creative inspirations. Our lives up to this point are the result of all the doors we have walked through, and our continued growth depends on our willingness to keep moving into new spaces. Every time we walk through an open door, we create a sense memory that encourages us to move into the new fearlessly. When we enter the new space, we almost always feel a thrill and a new feeling of confidence, in ourselves and in the universe. We have stepped across the threshold into a new life. AMEN! ✨✨

Received a phone call early this morning that hubby will be headed to Central Florida tomorrow morning. I spoke to the head nurse, and as of now, I have no idea where he will be in Central Fl.. All I hope for is that he will be safe. Next phone call a few hours ago was from my physician. My appointment for tomorrow has been cancelled until the end of this month. Oh well, I expected this but the next appointment not so far away Oh well. Tampa International Airport will be closing around midnight tomorrow and I have booked a hotel reservation for two nights. This is just in case the storm lasts longer than expected. I am watching the reports closely and will also fill the tank before visiting hubby. Right now I am OK. Just a wee bit nervous. Wouldn’t be so bad if hubby was with me. I now need to check the lanai and to bring in anything that can hurt the homes next door and across the lake. Still no A/C and maybe that’s a good thing since I will be shutting that down along with the overhead fans. I will send an update when I can. Guess we won’t be seeing the super blue moon.

NATIONAL RED WINE DAY
On August 28th, National Red Wine Day ushers in the flavors of fall. As the grapes ripen and signal a time for warmer sips, wine drinkers know reds mean tailgating and spicy foods.National Red Wine Day
Throughout the year, wine days afford us the opportunity to taste and learn about the differences between wines. Earlier this month National Prosecco Day gave us the last bubbly rays of summer. Now we savor the best of the season with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot noir, Port, and Syrah.-

RAINBOW BRIDGE REMEMBRANCE DAY
Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day on August 28th sets aside a day to remember the pet companions we’ve lost.Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day
The death of a pet, whether furry, feathered, or an uncommon variety, is felt deeply. They become family and a familiar part of our lives. Mourning their death is different for everyone, and the observance provides a way to help heal the ache of loss. The pain of loss is real. As each person travels through their grief, we remember the companionship and comfort they provided to us. Don’t forget that part of the relationship included care provided by you. The empty space left by the loss of a beloved pet is sometimes a difficult void to overcome.
Celebrate the home you provided and the joy your beloved pet brought you in return. When you are ready, you will know the time has arrived to find a new ‘critter’ to replace the emptiness felt. There are many animals yet to find a home. In time, you can be their new home. 💕
