Hi. During Trivia I also had problems with Trivia. Instead of pictures I needed to listen to static and then someone saying something. This went on for many long minutes and finally I was able to hear the muffled voice. There was no way that a picture would show unless I was able to decipher what the person was saying. GEEZ🤨🙄😣 I agree with you. We have to start somewhere and we shall see what happens. I do have patience and will keep trying other avenues as well, though I do not have any ideas as yet. Many have left HSN for other places, that I do know from reading things in Community. People are not happy with the new decisions and only time will tell if the new game plan will actually bring in those who were not happy with the changes. I also find missing the scores is a bad idea. I still say the points we accrue should go towards purchasing something we like in the HSN store. I am positive that this would have given many an incentive to play the games as well as a win win for them. There are times that I think HSN wants to drive customers away. This may be one of them.

Yesterday I heard from our neighbor on the Cape. She was a bit distraught and wanted to let me know that her mom past last month. She was 98. I know she misses her mom. She was there every day preparing meals, keeping the house cleaned, doing laundry, etc.. I also mentioned how fortunate she was to enjoy her all these years. There are times that I pick up the phone to call them and just before dialing the number, realize that their home has someone else living there. Then I get the feeling that they do know and I smile and feel better.

I made it to the Farmer’s Market. I was an hour behind schedule, but talking to a friend who needed to vent was a good thing. I was able to pick up clam chowder and something new to try. They made their own smoked corned beef and they made a huge grinder with it. The corned beef had just been heated and that was one of the things I brought to hubby. I also found a small bowl of cut up fruit, the container with cubed watermelon, a small container of applesauce with no sugar added and some pluots. Oh yes, strawberries which hubby said later were absolutely sweet to the palate. I left both the watermelon and strawberries with a plastic fork and spoon for a midnight or early morning snack. He loved the grinder and I did pick up an Italian one as well for today (Sunday). I arrived at the Rehab about 6:15 pm. Hubby thought the worse and was happy to see me. His eyes lit up when he saw me approach the TV room and stood in t he doorway. He had already eaten his dinner. He left the bread. He said I spoiled the taste when I brought the homemade bread from the Farmer’s Market. He said it was a different flavor. I left him after 10 pm. I got engrossed with a book. The place had to be in the 60s. I was absolutely freezing and so was hubby. I brought him a jacket and another jacket for his legs. He was wearing shorts.

Well, now off to do some cleaning. I was given a name to call this afternoon to see if they are interested in giving me an extra pair of hands. The den area will be the first on my list to get it back to order and to get the TV out of a box and ready for cable. Soundbar also.

After ridding our home of rodents, I have decided to discard most of our pots and pans. I am starting from scratch. Guess I am too late for Wolfgang Puck’s set. I have tried everyplace I can think of to no avail. I can still purchase his non stick ones, but would rather have the Stainless Steel. I do have some All-Clad which I will keep.
