Conversation – 20
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 20 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Think your mom and sis shourd watch the tropics. Looks like the cruise may be a bit bumpy. Right now there is a tropical storm that may turn into a hurricane going towards Bermuda. If that’s the course, it will be there during their vacation. After last year I do not take anything for granted. They are nothing like the ones we see North.

Just read that one of your daughter’s is spending a week in Boston. Boston is our old stomping grounds and hubby and I usually bus it from the Cape. We love walking around and seeing the new sights and oh yes, the old. The trip is only an hour and a half from Hyannis and should be shorter, but, always bumper to bumper traffic. There is always so much to see and do. Love Faneuil Hall which is part of Quincy Market. On Saturdays, across from Quincy, you have what is called Haymarket Square. It’s an all outdoor market where you can purchase fresh veggies, fruit, etc. In the afternoon you have the hawkers selling their wares. Prices go downward. In my college days, I used to go on Saturdays to purchase fruit and veggies and bring it back to t he dorm. I had a fire escape right outside my window and that is where I kept all my delicious items. It’s a wonder that they stayed out there without a problem from wild animals or birds. Then there is the Esplanade which leads you to the Charles River and to the “Shell.” The Boston Pops used to have a weekly show during the summer and sometimes in t he fall. I always enjoyed the Boston Gardens, though never partook of the swan boat ride. Tell your daughter that there are many that stand on a box of sorts and yak away all day. Boston Harbor have many fine restaurants. The smell of the sea abounds the area and the food is fresh and awesome. Oh how I miss Boston.
I still do not have a normal A/C, though today is the first time I have seen it below 80 in over a week. The techs have not been back and hopefully, they will today. I hope they make it early because I will be leaving here as soon as possible to be with hubby. Hubby also has an eye doctor appointment this morning. The ophthalmologist is there once per month. I left the MV forms with the head nurse for the physician to complete. One day next week I will make an appointment with the Optical Outlets for new frames for both of us.
Love the new furniture. Now looking for a loveseat to go with it. Now I will be able to read outside not only on the lanai, but also near our front door. It will be good to have visitors dropping in and have places to sit and have a good chat.
I think I finally have decided on a Microwave. Will take a look at my number one choice today and have it delivered and installed next week.
Have a great day. Not sure about Trivia. Someone may have to start it. This all depends upon how soon everyone shows up and I can leave and make a stop at the Farmer’s Market.

@Sheba🌻🌻🌻🌻
Hello Sheba, I hope you are well.
Yesterday was so hot, walking outside felt like waking into an oven.
Today is somewhat cooler, humidity not so high.
I had a few more appointments, and Monday I have more.
We did get some rain, but it’s still very dry.
We put out some water, and some old fruits for the bunny and the Opossums.
Tonight I saw three baby Opossums and one baby bunny all eating together.Take care Sheba 🌹

Sheba, hello and good evening. Congratulations on #20!
(i know the glitch did it but it’s still a nice accomplishment )
It’s great your daughter is in Boston. Not sure if this is the one who was in HI as well but it’s great to travel at their age. I never even thought to do so at a younger age as I was always working back then to pay rent and all those LA cost of living expenses. My son did have some adventures and really enjoyed his trip. I think he wants to plan another trip soon.Glad your youngest is out and about and recovered from Covid!
