I don’t think there is ever a day my house doesn’t have chocolate and if there is it’s a mistake. Hubs and I both love it.🍫

Pretty sure today was the hottest day of the year so far.🔥 We are getting a few storms right now and into the morning, yay. Family staying one more day. Feeling pretty tired today from the heat and running around all week.🏃‍♀️ Time for bed.😴 Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Hi and good afternoon. I am in rehab and been here since 4:20pm. Picked up a pizza and grinder. Put my things down in his room and then went looking. He was outside with the sun hitting his head. The wheelchair was stuck in a rut and it took some doing to get him out. I have no idea how long he was in the hot sun. No nurses were around. I brought him inside to an area that was cool before bringing him to his room. His body is having some problems differentiating from hot to cool. I am makIng him drink loads of liquids. Otherwise we are both ok.

That KS for the info on chocolate. Find me a Hershey bar and I will be a happy person. On the chocolate milk, been using Aldi’s. Add ice cream and soda and I’m good to go. Tomorrow is chicken wing day. Tons of specials and a few freebies.

Trivia is all set. Hope to see everyone .

Hello Sheba, it’s Friday and the weekend 😎 I hope you get some rain to cool oof a bit.
Lately all we get is dark skies, rumbles and few drops. We need a good down pour.

Ecuador has many Volcanoes, my friend lives about an hour and a half from one of the many Volcanoes in that country. He often sends pictures, it’s very pretty with snow covered top.

Milk chocolate is my favorite. I don’t like dark chocolate, I don’t like the taste and it gives me heartburn. Aldi’s has the best milk chocolate from Germany. We always get lots and keep it handy for a fast dessert.

Making a large salad and grilled chicken for dinner today 😋

Heart Meditation

Opening our hearts to another person’s suffering is a beautiful act of empathy that ultimately helps heal us all.

It is not easy to have an open heart in a world that offers us a full spectrum of emotional experiences. This life gives us much joy, love, and light, but it also shows us a fair amount of pain, sadness, and suffering. When our hearts are open, we take everything into ourselves, and we are deeply affected by what we see. We do not hold ourselves separate from the pain of others. In addition, our own personal disappointments may begin to take their toll. We may feel small, alone, and overwhelmed. Most of us may feel like we are not up to the task of living with our hearts open, and we might begin to close down, little by little, so that we can get through our days without having to feel too much.

One thing that can help us turn this situation around is an awareness of the power of empathy. To open our hearts to another person’s suffering is a revolutionary act that has energetic implications. Many experiments with meditation have proven that we can reach far beyond our own boundaries and heal others when our hearts are open. Heart meditations awaken this power and heal the person meditating as well as anyone who is the focus of the meditation.

You may want to experiment with this the next time you see or hear something painful. Instead of shuttering your emotions, resolve to hold your feelings in your heart. Tap into the divine energy of universal love that resides in your heart. This energy makes you powerful, for it is your protection that will transmute the pain of others. Breathe deeply, and let yourself feel the pain of the situation, knowing that your heart is big and strong enough to hold it. As you breathe, visualize healing light emanating from your heart and touching all that are suffering. You will heal your heart in the process. AMEN! ✨🌹

Good day on the Gulf Coast of Florida. ✨😘😎Oodie we are in the triple digits already.
Well it is summer all over the country seems to be hot some States are hotter than others
of course.

I am looking forward to fall or at least anything around 80 degrees good for most people
as well as the animals.

Glad you got some shopping done. Oodie where you shop for your fruits and veggies
sounds like fun. ✨😎All I have a taste for is fruits and veggies I do not have a sweet
