Good evening I enjoy History and Mystery Novels. ✨🌹I think one of the best books I’ve
read was about Catherine The Great that book with long and thick. I read every page
I was recovering from a broken ankle and I was in bed I even had a dream about
the book I actually thought I was in her court. ✨

John Steinbeck is another favorite of mine The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, etc.
My mother like all mother’s had certain books hidden in places I should not have looked
but I had to read what my mother read and one of those books was The Valley of The Dolls.
I will leave that one alone because it hits close to home and this was years after I read it.

I am glad you and hubby had a good hike. 😎✨

Don’t get me started on Edith Wharton great book Ethan Frome. I also saw the movie
on PBS with Liam Neeson and is was fantastic. ✨Dare I say I have also read the Wizard
of OZ just about the only family movie we were allowed to watch. ✨💕

My father taught me to love books I could not watch TV like other kids I had to read. I am so glad dad this

Sheba, Hubs and I hiked early in the evening and it was still humid but much more manageable.
What type of books do you like to read?

On my vacation last year, I ran out of space in my luggage and left a book behind ( and a great pair of Speedo Boots). darn. Well, I had the sequel at home and read it over the weekend. Ordered the book i left behind and it gets here Saturday. Yay, it The Thursday Murder Club, by Richard Folsom. I did enjoy it.

Hello Sheba, how are you this evening? Did you get to read a good book?
Went out into the heat and you can cut it with a knife. No rain, haven’t had any for a while now. Of course everything is dry.

Brazil’s weather is somewhat crazy, one day they’re into the eighties. The next day is back to Winter into the thirties.

I found this channel on YouTube. I have been binging watching this channel. It’s a family that owns a farm in Azerbaijan. Such beautiful scenery, lots of animals, vegetables and fruits. The roosters crow often through out the videos 🐓 . Both cats and dogs play with the bunny (bunnies) and there’s a duck that follows both cats or dog around.

They are husband and wife, most videos end with them enjoying a meal. And drinking tea, which they just pick leaves and or flowers from their property or around their property. The mountains are lovey and the area is absolutely beautiful.
This weekend I saw a program on BBC World Nwes TV called Wonders of Azerbaija, and that too was so beautiful.

Everyday is book lover’s day in my house.📖 I have enough books to last a couple lifetimes. And I do read each day, maybe a page or two before I fall asleep😴 or a few chapters relaxing on the deck. Between me and a couple friends, we are our own library, lol!

Bachelorette weekend coming up. Will visit mom and sis and my friend who had the surgery. Cook what I want when I want and read in bed with the big light on, yay!😊 By Sunday, I will be ready to see hubs.

Cycle of Life

While we are on earth, we are all human beings in different phases of our lives and soul development.

As we walk through the world, the people we encounter appear so different from one another. We see babies, old men, pregnant women, and teenage boys. We know couples on the verge of marriage and lonely widows. We interact with toddlers and the terminally ill. As different as each person seems, they are all living the human experience. They are just at different places in the cycle that begins with birth and ends with death. Every phase of the cycle of life has its gifts and its challenges. Each stage is temporary and ultimately gives way to a new phase. This ephemeral quality makes each phase precious, because it will never last.

One of the wonderful qualities possessed by babies and young children is that they are unaware that a cycle of life even exists. They simply are present to wherever they happen to be right now, and they don’t give much thought to the past or future. Being around them reminds us of the joy that comes from living fully in the moment. On the opposite end of life’s cycle are our elderly role models. They are a reminder that each phase of life should be treasured. Time does pass, and we all change and grow older.

Being aware of the cycle of life and our place in it makes us wiser. As we develop a true appreciation for the phase we are in, we can savor it more. A new mother going through a difficult time with her infant can more easily embrace her challenges because she knows that her child will grow up, and she will long for this time again. Difficult and challenging periods are inevitable, but – like everything that is a part of the cycle of life — they are temporary. When we are fully engaged with life, we get to savor and grow from each phase, and we are ready for the next one when it arrives. Fully embracing wherever you are in the cycle of life is the very essence to happiness. AMEN! ✨✨
