Conversation – 19
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 19 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Sheba, Love this!

Sheba, just caught a corner of the fireworks. Next year I am planning to go and my walking friend is in and so is my son, and we will see who else is one year from now. Hope you are feeling better today. The heat doesn’t help. I get slight rashes from hiking in this heat.
I posted about the Rarities but I guess I miss the sparkle threads. They arrived today and are different from anything I have, and unique and pretty.
Hope you have a cool evening!Xango and her ideas about cooking, water and wipes are awesome.

Good evening I am so glad the A/C is working properly now for your husband and so
many others. The heat is no joke.Oodie how is his new room mate? I hope he is doing alright. I miss the other room mate
he was on top of everything and I know he really appreciated your kindness with sharing
of the fruit and food. ✨Oodie I am surprise by your husband reaction as to how you looked anyone would look
out of it after being under the weather dealing with heat and trying to make sure he has
everything he needs. I would relax tonight and stay cool. Hey tomorrow is another day.I am doing alright just one of those things. ✨

Get Happy
Song by Judy GarlandForget your troubles, c’mon get happy
You better chase all your cares away
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
Get ready for the judgement day
The sun is shinin’, c’mon get happy
The Lord is waitin’ to take your hand
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
We’re going to the promise land
We’re headin’ ‘cross the river
Wash your sins away in the tide
It’s all so peaceful on the other side
Forget your troubles, c’mon get happy
You better chase all your cares away
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
Get ready for the judgement day
Forget your troubles, c’mon get happy
Chase your cares away
Hallelu, get happy
Before the judgement day
The sun is shinin’, c’mon get happy
The Lord is waitin’ to take your hand
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
We’re gonna be goin’ to the promise land
Were headin’ ‘cross the river
Wash your sins away in the tide
It’s quiet and peaceful on the other side
Forget your troubles, get happy
Your cares fly away
Shout “hallelujah”, get happy
Get ready for your judgement day
C’mon get happy
Chase your cares away
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
Get ready for the judgment day
Sun is shinin’, c’mon get happy
Lord is waitin’ to take your hand
Hallelujah, c’mon get happy
We’re goin’ to the promise land
Headin’ ‘cross the river
Throw your sins away in the tide
It’s all so peaceful on the other side
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
You better chase all your cares away
Shout “hallelujah”, c’mon get happy
Get ready, get ready, get ready
For the judgment day (hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu) -
Good evening I have been doing alright today I do feel so much better the medicine is
kicking in. Xango 103 temp was caused by it being a sinus infection. So far no more temps
once the meds took effect and I will be on them for a few more days. ✨I am glad Saint Anthony is always near and dear. 💕💕
The heat did not help and I was anxious for the animals. No more Fireworks tonight so
I may be able to sleep. I am very lucky with my husband but remember we have four
children so he does have a lot of experience when it comes to emergencies. ✨I have to say he was concerned because it is not like me to have to go in the evening to
Urgent Care maybe the ER which I did not want. I will just take it easy for the next few days.Thank you for thinking of me. I hope you and your husband see the bunnies and things
go back to normal after the Holiday. 😎 -
Peace Out Peeps enjoy your evening and keep cool and safe. 😎🌹✨

Beyond the Sea – Bobby Darrin
Somewhere beyond the sea
Somewhere waiting for me
My lover stands on golden sands
And watches the ships that go sailingSomewhere beyond the sea
She’s there watching for me
If I could fly like birds on high
Then straight to her arms
I’d go sailingIt’s far beyond the stars
It’s near beyond the moon
I know beyond a doubt
My heart will lead me there soonWe’ll meet beyond the shore
We’ll kiss just as before
Happy we’ll be beyond the sea
And never again I’ll go sailing
Ah!I know beyond a doubt, ow!
My heart will lead me there soon
We’ll meet (I know we’ll meet) beyond the shore
We’ll kiss just as before
Happy we’ll be beyond the sea
And never again I’ll go sailingNo more sailing
So long, sailing
Bye, bye, sailingNo more sailing
So long, sailing
Bye, bye, sailing
Move on out, captain… -
Definitely. Most beautiful sights on the way home from rehab.

Hello🌹, it’s been unseasonably hot here too. I am glad you purchased the water, it’s always a good idea to have it handy. The electrolytes will help you to maintain a balance of fluids as you are so busy and going all over the place in this hot weather.
Oodie, have you seen these bath towelettes, its called Rinse Free Bath Sponges, from Scrubzz. But it’s not sponges like a kitchen sponges. It’s larger than a moist towelettes, it just takes a small bit of water to get it wet and it gives you a rich and foamy lathering soap to wash your body. It drys instantly, no rinse , no sticky residue. You can take it to the rehab when you want to give your hubby a wipe down. It’s also on Amazon, Scrubzz Disposable No Rinse Bathing Wipes (Natural, 4-Pack 29.99).Take care Oodie. 🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝🏝

@Sheba🪷🪷🪷🪷🪷
Hello Sheba, I am glad you are feeling better. Give your hubby a big hug for taking such good care of you 💗.
We have a big storm with lots of rain on Monday night, I was expecting fireworks that evening and nobody tried.
Yesterday we had a few homes celebrated the 4th with fireworks but not as much as in the past years. Having a major holiday in the middle of the week makes it difficult for many who has to work the next day.Sheba take it easy and get stronger and better. Do you know what caused the high fever? Don’t forget Saint Anthony, ask him for help when ever you need help.
Take care Sheba 🌹 🌹🌹🌹🌹💗💗💗💗💗💗 -
Thank you for your suggestion on the Glacial Smart Water. I ordered it from Amazon and I have to admit it is real good. I didn’t realize that not having some A/C in rehab would cause so many problems. I had assumed I was completely hydrated. I had no idea and it took days to get back on track. I am now limiting the weight of the freezer bag during this heat wave and low air quality. Starting today I will be using a different brand that is lighter in weight and lasts about the same as the larger and thicker ones.
Hubby is doing better and I hope and pray that his health stays OK.. Last night I noticed the nurses wearing the yellow gowns so I am now wondering what is going on. Yes, I am a worry wort. And during the time without the A/C I noticed that the rooms were not cleaned and the linens remained the same. I did take hubby’s cleaning home and will do that wash sometime later this week. I am hoping that hubby will get a shower and his room cleaned thoroughly.
I am enjoying your visitations and leaving food out for the animals. Don’t forget the water. If you have a kiddy pool, that could come in handy for some of the animals to use to cool off. I miss seeing that at my Ct. home.
Hope you have a great Wednesday. Try not to do too much. Again, thanks for the advice. I will now order the larger size.

I made it to the Farmer’s Market yesterday and so glad I did. I was able to pick up a couple of Italian grinders for hubby along with ready made salads. I was also surprised to see lobster rolls on sale. $12 ea. Also picked up chicken salad sandwiches on a croissant. They had cut up watermelon for everyone and so glad they did. I forgot to eat due to the heat. It took care of the hunger and the thirst. Also picked up dessert. Homemade apple pie and July 4th cookies. I did purchase dragon fruit and cherries. The plums were over ripen. Also bought cubed watermelon and honeydew. When I returned to the car with all the goodies, took the time to empty the plastic bags and put perishables into the freezer bag. Yes, I also had the trolley with me. The ice paks make the freezer bag hard to lug and thus was able to sit it on top of the blue bag without a problem. When I arrived at the rehab I saw hubby in the hallway eating dinner. I could not believe my eyes. He was actually waiting for me all by himself. Anyway, he took one look at me and the carry alls and though he was happy to see me, he thought I looked awful. Anyway, I was not impressed with his meal. Bowl of soup. Main course: 5 slices of marbled rye. One thinly sliced cheese and one thinly sliced ham. Also one cookie. He had two milks that were just under a pint each and i plastic cup of iced tea. So glad I was able to make a stop at the Farmer’s Market.
Hubby didn’t want anything I brought right away. However, the nurses soon came and wheeled him back to his room. I cleaned his table and then proceeded to put out the watermelon and honeydew. Hubby opened the watermelon right away and proceeded to have a great time. About an hour or so later he asked for the grinder. I will bring more today. Just wish I had a smaller freezer bag.
Happy that you are now feeling better and for the most part, the fever is gone. Please keep yourself fully hydrated and I will be doing the same. I have a few bills to pay and then will get dressed and head to the rehab. The A/C is running. The techs still need to do some work and then all should be running smoothly. Hope you have a great Wednesday. I assume our recycle and garbage pickup will be Friday this week. I will check on line just to be sure. It may rain here later. Air quality has a huge alert.

Creating Sacred Ceremony
Loving connection is a boundless space that defies any distance.
Life’s journeys may sometimes take us away from our families and friends, but there are many ways to stay connected. Aside from making use of the technology available, we can create simple ceremonies using nature to connect our hearts across the miles.
The first step in creating your ceremony is to look to nature for similarities in the different surroundings. The second step is agreeing upon something that is meaningful to all involved. If your mother loves birds, then perhaps each time you hear a bird chirp, you can think of her and mentally send love. You may choose the sight of a butterfly, the feel of a breeze or raindrops, or the scent of flowers to remind you of a special someone. The pink glow of sunset might be your favorite time to send a thought, or perhaps the warming oranges of sunrise. The monthly full moon may be your time to connect with your loved ones, or the first star you see each night, knowing that they, too, are gazing into the night sky and sending love. You could choose a day that you would usually celebrate together, such as a holiday or a solstice. If you once shared Sunday brunches in the garden, you can each seek out a garden on Sundays. Or you can choose a specific time and account for the time difference in order to connect by heart and mind at exactly the same moment.
With practice, we may learn to recognize the feeling that comes when a loved one sends energy our way and the feeling of soul-to-soul communication. In this case, distance may indeed make our connections stronger. There is so much that can make us think of our close friends and loved ones, but when we decide upon a reminder together, we create a simple ceremony of connection that defies any distance. AMEN! ✨✨
