Conversation – 19
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is number 19 out of the
series. I created and started this thread nearly 10 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe. 🌹✨😎

Hi Taci, just wanted to say hello and say how wonderful it is you are enjoying your walks. Not sure if you like photography, and was wondering if you take photos while out there? Of the scenery, different trees or just greenery.
Take care Taci🌳🌳🌴🌴🌵🌵🌳🌳

Hello Sheba, I must of not realized it all started from a sinus problem. So glad you are getting better.
Happy Birthday to your daughter, you were in labor for two days oh my. I would have gotten my rolling pin and hit my hubby on his head, 🤣🤣🤣🤣 lol
My niece in North Carolina celebrates tomorrow, she was born on the 7th.
I have some appointments tomorrow, it will most likely take the entire day, hubby is off.My dinner was pasta with a home made roasted tomatoes and garlic sauce.
I did make hubby little breads made out of red lentils, eggs, cottage cheese and olive oil. It’s good to have with coffee in the morning or just making little sandwiches. Doesn’t contain sugar or flour, its good for diabetes or and gluten free.Take Care Sheba

Happy Thursday to you. Sunny and very warm in the ‘burgh.🌞🔥 May get a shower or thunderstorm later tonight. So happy you are feeling better.🤗
Went with a friend of mine for some tests at the hospital. She is single and family is not close so I didn’t want her to be by herself. That’s what friends are for.👩❤️👩 After that I went grocery shopping.😝
Happy BD to your daughter!! Glad she is celebrating big time.😎🏖🏄♀️ If you ever need any info on Hawaii, my sister lived there for 10 years.
Going to start the grill for some chicken.🍗 Keep improving and sending cool hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

I am running a bit late due to a sinus migraine. Bed never looked or felt so good. The sinus meds along with an aspirin really helped. I will soon be getting dressed and head to Lowes and Costco. Hubby asked for ice cream from Costco. I still have an Italian grinder left and will bring it with me.
People were still doing the fireworks on my way home from rehab last night. I loved your Heidi Daus thread in Community 19. Loved it so much that I decided to do a look see at Heidi’s web area on HSN and was totally shocked to see some new items. The dancers caught my eye and so I purchased and used the $15 coupon for today only. And here I vowed not to purchase anything more. Famous last thoughts and words. I do adore her beach themes and must admit I am hoping she will add more bracelets since I missed out on all of them. I did manage to purchase a few of the pins and they are now on my summer hat. People are loving the bike and the turning of the wheels.
Happy Birthday to daughter number one. To celebrate in Hawaii. Hope she has time to enjoy a luau on this special day and occasion. Hawaii is still on my list when hubby is well enough to travel. We are getting there. And, he is drinking more. I had mentioned that adding more fluids and exercising may help the bladder to function the way it should.
The first roommate is no longer in rehab. He found a place to stay that is not far away. The staff is happy that he is gone. He was good for hubby, however, hubby really needed to be on his own more. And since he left, hubby’s appetite is better. The roommate that followed was also good, but not as helpful. Last week he was rushed to the hospital and though he was expected back before the 4th, he has yet to return. I have a feeling he may have returned home from the hospitalization. All I was told is that he needed a blood transfusion. He does not have leukemia or cancer, but another type of blood disorder. I am hoping he is OK.
The A/C is working OK at the rehab. However, all the rooms now need to be disinfected. I would bring Clean Boss,, but will leave that part to the cleaning crew.
I better get a move on. Take care of yourself and let Poppy go out back. Hmm….wonder if I should take another look at Heidi. I do enjoy the time when she is on HSN. Her smile and laughter are so contagious and so sorely needed. Just wish she was on more often. But, how do you do more often when you are enjoying the Jersey shore……..hmmm……….

Overcome Half-Empty Consciousness
Learning to overcome our perception of lack into fullness.
We are all familiar with the metaphorical story of two people looking at the same glass and one perceiving it as half-full while the other sees it as half-empty. As much as we’ve heard this, it’s still a valuable exercise to really observe our minds and notice whether we are engaged in half-full or half-empty thinking. People will refer to themselves as being of one type or the other as if it was a permanent characteristic, but we are all capable of shifting into a half-full consciousness if we simply make the effort.
When we look at our lives with half-empty consciousness, we perceive a lack and think that the other half of what we want is missing. We are coming from a position of expectation and entitlement. On the other hand, when we look at our lives as half-full, we perceive fullness. It is as if we recognize that our cup could be fully empty and so we are grateful for what we see as bounty — not something we expect or believe we are owed but a gift. In half-full consciousness, we count our blessings. When we look at our lives, we see all the elements that are in place and all the things we do have. This doesn’t necessarily mean we don’t seek more, but we seek from a place of fullness, instead of from a place of lack. This fullness draws positive energy into our lives and often attracts more abundance.
If you would like to begin to make the shift into half-full consciousness, try imagining your life as an empty glass — this is your life without all the people you know, the work you do, your home, or your current state of physical well-being. This is just an empty, open space waiting to be filled. Once you have that feeling of openness in your mind, begin filling it with all the people, things, and places that make up your life. You may be surprised to find your glass overflowing.
AMEN! ✨🌹
