Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Good morning what a nice post. ✨🌹Taci when people get you and who you are it is
a wonderful feeling. I let people be people we are all different and that is what makes
the world interesting. 😎✨🌹i.e. with my crazy art work you all never question why I like
that because the answer would be because I like it. 😘💕Nothing strange about that. Some days Taci I am the only one online posting I look up and no one is there.
How I do the thread is I don’t even look at who is on it takes a lot of work to do what I do
on the daily. The way is complicated but because I never stopped posting I taught myself
a few tricks. I type and post with a thought nothing is prepared nothing. I have always said
when my fingers hit the keyboard that is when the thoughts pour in. I love it. 😎Taci I have enjoyed you for years your hikes are so interesting I am going to up my game
and try to go for a two mile hike but I can’t wear Poppy out. ✨I better do it before the
dog days of summer are here OZ is very humid. Well today is the DAY! I will let you know
later after it is done what the results are you and the girls have been so supportive know
that I appreciate that. ✨ -
Sheba, smart lady to stay out of it. I tried not to sway her but let her know I am open to any questions or help with understanding.
Good for you for getting a final test. Glad the fog has lifted and you are moving onward and forward. Saw the post and the image. One of my walking friends is a super nerd and she says when she can tell someone is one of her people. Your 2nd post picture is so true. I appreciate people who are their authentic selves and completely respect it. If we were all the same think how boring it would be.
UBU 🙂 😘 -
I am so glad you did Trivia the way you did nothing wrong with starting it early. The questions
does not pop up until 7:00 p.m. where I live. ✨Everyone seems to be having a good time and that is the way you want it.
So glad work will be done on the lanai. Oodie I have always wanted to ask you does
your home look like the one on the Golden Girls? I love the way that house was made.
The girls are often in the lanai and that is a pretty room.Oodie if you have to spend the night do so but there is no place like your bed. 😎💕
Oz is raining and we are in the 50’s so chilly night. ✨

Good evening I do not find you boring I don’t care how many times you post the same
things because I see something different each time.I know I repeat myself and that is the way I planned it. Xango if I start to talk about myself
which is not boring I think you would get tired of hearing it. 😎Thanks for the get well shout out in less than 24 hours I will know the outcome of all the
work the meds did. I am feeling alright. 😘I never get tired of your cooking or talking about your family I love it.
Besides Xango you are nice to be around. 😎🌹💕

@Sheba🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hello Sheba, Happy to read you and your husband are doing well and you had your last dosage of meds.
All is well here, just took a break from posting. I find myself having nothing new to say.
And I dislike writing the same thing all the time. My life is pretty boring 😀😄Our bunny is back this afternoon enjoying the shaded area near the woods. He was munching on some greens.
I will pop in on Trivia tonight and say hello. Here’s wishing you a very happy weekend with your hubby and Poppy. Take those walks and have a nice bike ride.
Take care Sheba 🌹 🌹🌹 -
Forgot to mention that I will get everyone started with Trivia before I leave to see hubby. Not sure what time I will return, but in any case, no later than 10pm. I was informed yesterday that I can stay as long as I like and that goes for all visitors. Guess I can sleep in the chair overnight. But I won’t tell hubby. (LOL). The bed is actually too small for the two of us.

Hi and a great afternoon to you and hubby. So good that you can now see the end of this so called Covid virus. It does take a lot out of you. And to think I may have had it a second time when hubby was hospitalized. Guess I will never know since I was too ill to drive and too afraid to ask anyone to take me to the Walk-In. In case it was Covid, I didn’t dare ask and for me, that was the right decision. What a relief to find that your brother and sister-in-law are also on the road to recovery. I also hope that they found a place for her brother. In Florida there are wait lists for assisted living. I hope she was able to circumvent the wait list and he is now where he can receive the proper care.
Yesterday I made a phone call to a company that specializes in lanai renovations. He knew and saw the problems and I have to add there are many. I am debating whether or not to consult a real estate attorney which could be costly, but then worth the effort. I am still weighing in on this one. Here are the problems: 1. a screen is coming away from the structure. 2. a roof panel is needed on the inside of the lanai. 3, I noticed that the door leading to the lake area was put in crooked and so were the beams. 4, A new screen door is needed to keep the animals from using the lanai. We will replace one door now. The paneling against the house in the lanai will be changed. 5. Some of the wood was reused and you can tell now it is rotting away. Fingers crossed that termites are not in those areas. 6. Lastly the entire lanai will be power washed. It sounds like tons of work and very expensive, but it will only take a few hours to do the job. Power wash will either be done the same day or he will return the following day. I also realized that I was missing an overhang on one side. The reason I’m not sure about an Attorney is that the entire project is less than what an attorney will cost for an hour of their time. Then added to the cost will be letters to the outfit that redid the roof. If that doesn’t work then it would be a court thing. The people who recommended this contractor will get a letter from me. It took months for them to return to repair part of the roof and replace the screened doors. I had asked for either a phone call or an e-mail when the crew would return. There was none until they drove up on a Saturday afternoon. This new person and I also checked the den area outside and inside. The structure is sound. That’s a huge relief. He did suggest that we change out the windows at some point and he would be able to do that job when we are ready. I am so excited right now that I am bursting at the seams. No more critters will be a godsend. I have one left and this one is huge with a very long tail. I am not exaggerating. Terminix has stopped coming and that’s OK, I know what to do, and will get rid of this thing soon. Now all I have to do is get hubby well. Oh, forgot to mention. As soon as we know what the results of the tests are and what hubby will need to do with the urinary track, then the orthopedist will see hubby.
Had a phone call this morning. He will have the procedure the last day in May and we see the urologist on the 8th. I did find out that if he needs physical therapy, it can be started at home. And that could begin the day he is released. Pain Management is also part of the therapy. But, I do need to get him home or have the rehab take him to the area for the therapy which is only 3 or 4 miles from their facility. Actually, it is very near to Costco. If hubby had not had the same problem with the other leg, I would certainly believe that he would never walk again. He had therapy on that knee and within a week or so he was able to use that leg. Still had pain but he could work through it. Like, you, I am feeling better and maybe the other end of the rainbow could just be around the corner. -
Cohabit with Others
When we cohabit with others, it is important to make the effort to share the space in a way that supports everyone.
Our homes are our havens. These places where we come to rest, recharge, and dream in safety and comfort allow us to better face the challenges of the world outside our doors. When sharing a living space with others, an awareness of the thoughts and feelings of everyone involved is essential in creating the peace we all desire. Regardless of where we lived before, each time we cohabit with others it is important that we make the effort to share the space in a way that supports everyone.
We need to remember that in a shared space, everything we sense can also be sensed by another person. Peace will not likely be the result when the senses are filled with the sight of unwashed plates, intrusive sounds, unpleasant smells, the feel of a foreign substance beneath bare feet, or the taste of food tainted by an uncovered onion in the fridge. But if we communicate and listen with respect to those with whom we share a space, we may find that one enjoys washing dishes to end the day, while the other can take out the garbage during their evening walk. Working with another’s schedule, you can still meditate or exercise to your favorite music while the other is out, and save reading for the times when they are trying to sleep. Being thoughtful of the energy that is required for something to be cleaned up may make everyone aware of being neater, whether that means taking off your shoes at the entrance or wiping up juice spilled on the kitchen floor.
In the same way, pent up resentment toward your living partners is just as easily felt. Keeping the energy clear requires the effort of communication, the awareness of another’s feelings, and courtesy toward the space you share. While that sometimes requires changing your schedule or habits, there are many times when having a caring someone nearby is worth all the effort. Living with others can help us learn to mingle our energies at home as well as at work and in the world at large in a way that benefits us and everyone around us. AMEN! 😘😎🌹
