Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Hello and great news on your brother and his wife. Soon you and your hubby will test negative too and your energy and feeling 100 percent will be back.
Baking bread today, I love and must have bread and butter in the morning with my coffee. I had received a block of fresh yeast from Amazon it’s to expire on the 18th. So I called Publix Supermarket bakery and asked what does fresh yeast looks like when it’s well fermented? Does it become foamy like dry yeast, because I have not been waiting to get that way. I just add it to water and to flour, today wanted to make sure it was good. The lady at the bakery said they didn’t use fresh yeast, they only use dry yeast 😀😄 that was a suprise to me.
Finally got the gecko out of the house today. That little thing was still fast, took me a while going back and forth with it. I was making my coffee and saw this little thing running across the family room. Good thing it stay in that area, and didn’t go into any of the other areas. I think it’s because of the plants in that area.
Glad to hear the good news about your bother and his wife.
Wishing you and your husband the same speedy recovery ❤️ 🙏
Take care Sheba 🌹 -
Boredom
The sense of feeling bored in life can be an indicator that we need to be proactive in creating change.
Sometimes we feel that things aren’t moving along fast enough for us and that the world is passing us by. It may be that time seems to stand still and that we are simply bystanders in our own lives. Other times it might appear that there is nothing new left for us to experience and that we are locked into a never-ending cycle of stasis. If we take the time to listen to these feelings we will notice that there is probably more going on beneath the surface, like our apprehension to venture out into the unknown. By taking a new look at how we live our lives, however, it will be easier to break through our sense of boredom and enter into a more positive state of being.
When life seems monotonous, it is usually an indication that there is something we need to change. Boredom can easily lead us down the path to despondency. Acknowledging our feelings and then setting the intention to alter just one small thing in our life can give us a much more affirmative outlook. This act of change allows us to step outside of ourselves and discover new and exciting things that are often already present in our everyday lives. Simple things such as eating a healthier diet, taking a new class, or joining a club are all ways in which we can go beyond our comfort zone and explore the wonders that exist all around us. Keep in mind that the moment we do something different from our usual routine, the more fresh energy, hope, and blessings we will manifest in our life. What this means is that we’ll no longer see things as being tedious but will instead realize the preciousness of everything.
Being able to integrate these subtle changes on a daily basis allows us to recognize the miracles that are our lives. Even though we may think of change as doing something life-altering or drastic, gentle transitions from our habitual ways of doing things and an appreciation of all life offers us will truly bring about positive and lasting transformation. AMEN! ✨✨🌹

Good afternoon. It is Wednesday and I do see you are posting to a new day. I will try to be brief. As you know, we had a meeting yesterday with Administration staff. I was told that hubby will never walk again and will be confined to a wheelchair. He will never be able to join me in Ct. or Ma. Though he can fly, there will be endless pain trying to get the wheelchair up and down the steps at both homes. Surgery is the only way out, but that’s a problem. Hubby does show signs of dementia, but I notice it more when he doesn’t eat properly . At least they found the medication that was making him sleep all day. They also suggested a nursing home. Assisted Living may be out of the question if there are stairs involved. I could be with him in Assisted Living. However I will have to sell both vehicles. That is not a good idea at the moment. I guess I like my freedom and being able to do things on my own. At the moment I have left a message with our primary care physician and the Orthopedist. I am going to see what we can do to alleviate the pain and the swelling in his knee. Both knees need total reconstruction. As of yesterday, hubby has lost hope. He refused the pizza at dinner time and has refused breakfast and lunch today. I will be there at my usual time so he will think nothing is wrong. The other situation is that he cannot get in or out of bed himself. These problems started just a little over a month ago. As for a wheelchair which we already have, I am looking at something that is less cumbersome. And I am sure there is a way to get a person in and out of bed without difficulty.
