I hope you and hubby are having a great weekend. I saw a sleeping hubby yesterday which told me he didn’t eat anything all day. Thankfully, I brought the Italian grinder that he didn’t touch the day prior. He was fully awake after finishing the grinder. But, then I had to leave. The itchiness returned and I needed to take some meds which make me sleepy. I did so when I returned home. These itches may be from the soap powder I use. I switched today to see if this one would help. It could also be the allergic reaction to sulfites. I tried something from Aldi’s. I keep forgetting that they do not list all the ingredients. Vinegar is a sulfite. But if I’m careful, no harm done with salad dressings.

Today I did do a huge batch of laundry. My new washer takes over an hour and the dryer the same. I used the new soap, so shall see tomorrow if there are any reactions. Hubby has the procedure on Wednesday and I should know the time either tomorrow or certainly by Tuesday. If not, I will contact that department. This time I will make sure that I’m there in person. I am hoping for some answers and that appointment is in the afternoon on the 8th. I just hope and pray that it isn’t anything really serious.

I realize we both own the Stearns Foster Pillowtop mattress. I actually startel wondering why hubby falls out of bed so often. He didn’t fall at the hospital nor at Rehab. The same also for cruises and hotel rooms. So why this bed. Well, I started really looking at the situation and I may have found the answer. None of the beds and these will include the ones at our other homes do not have a pillowtop mattress. The other thing I noticed was that the mattresses at the hospital and the other places did not use a pillowtop mattress cover. So, I started thinking. And what I came up with is to change the mattress cover from pillowtop to a regular one. Our homes North have a pillowtop mattress cover, and yet, no falling. He does sleep on the edge and it does scare the nursing staff, but, he is fine. Anyway, I ordered a new mattress cover and will use a steam cleaner to do it’s thing on the bed. I also love “Clean Boss.” I tried it in a corner of our metal bed and it worked great. That corner looks brand spanking new. Cannot wait to start on the MB and the MBR.

Tomorrow I will be leaving late morning. Our Farmer’s Market will be opened and they have all kind of specials for the day. It’s enough to get me back to the market. Afterwards will go straight to rehab with all the goodies. And speaking of goodies. Received my Heidi Daus sale items. WOW…..it does not disappoint.
