Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, 5 bro’s huh? Wow! I can’t even imagine a family as large as yours.
It just takes one sick person to ruin it for everyone. Sorry your brother and wife caught Covid like that. darn. One of my compromised friends went to pick up her sister and her hubs at the airport, well they also ended up positive. My friend and her husband wore KN95 masks in the car and were luckily just fine.
Hope you are feeling better today and I don’t trust home tests at all for many reasons.
Yes, the hairdresser is interesting and quite talented. She started cutting at the current salon way back when to improve her English. Prior to that all her clients spoke Japanese.
Oh, and my hubs and I went up the Mtn to hike a trail and he wanted to drive. It’s mostly inclined on the way up it and it was too hot for me and there were a lot of bugs. I wore my paper mask on the way down. Going back down was a breeze. I am tired. -
I have been falling asleep at the computer and waking up at 3 am. I tried to work on the lanai, but it is too hot and muggy. The last couple of days we had the cumulus clouds and thought for sure we would have some rain. The sky in the East was quite dark, but nothing for us. We can only water our plants on Fridays because of the drought situation. However, I did do a couple of loads of laundry. I have some issues with the electric in that the circuit breakers keep going off especially when I use the air fryer and toaster oven at the same time.. Then the computer went off. That was triggered when the electrical cord came undone. However then lost the sound and wifi. Rather than call the Geeks, decided to try to do everything myself. I spent most of the afternoon on this project and now everything is in working order. I think I will now try to tackle the garbage disposal. That I am sure I can do myself. The only problem is being on my hands and knees. Wonder if I would have problems going into a standing position afterwards. I will need to do this at least twice. I therefore did not see hubby today. But will tomorrow. I need to go to Aldi’s and then return home for a short time. The Farmer’s Market is next. The first of the Vidalia onions are in. Hope they are sweet. Also the first of the peaches are in. This is the time I really miss my grandma. She would make batches of peach jelly and boy was that ever delicious. My mom used to go down into my grandparents cellar and grab whatever she could carry. How she bypassed Grandpa’s wine is beyond me. Grandpa had his grapevine next to the garage which was separate from the house. I sometimes wonder if he had horses at one time because the garage sometimes smelled of hay. Tomorrow is Mom’s birthday and it will be good for me to get out and about. I often think of her, but glad she is in a better place. The Amish now make a peach jelly which I may look at tomorrow. I will also pick up’ some Boost or a healthy protein drink for hubby while I am out. He is skipping too many meals while I am out and about. I did manage to make a chicken sandwich for both guys yesterday. So glad I did. Hubby skipped breakfast and lunch and the roommate skipped lunch and dinner. So glad I made something and didn’t go empty handed. Now will let you go so I can try to fix the garbage disposal. I found two remedies on “You Tube” that will work. Hope I can get up without a problem. Have a great evening. Oh yes, no spoonbills yet. Have a great evening. I will be doing my rain dance as I’m off to the kitchen.

@Sheba🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Hello Sheba, we are having a down pour as I write this. Everything has been so very dry.
Water hear is very expensive, so we dry not to water the lawn as often. The bunny came throughout the afternoon. Yesterday he position himself right on the side of the glass door, looking straight into the door ans at me. Today he was all over eating his grass, so I opened the door while he was on the edge of the woods and through some bread out for him. Some pieces fell more near and some far, one piece fell right beside him and he started eating. Later as it was starting to get dark he was right near the door eating another piece of bread.
Glad you are feeling well, and hope soon no more testing positive.
Take care Sheba 🌹 🙂 💕 💜 ❤️ -
Peace Out Peeps have a safe and nice evening. ✨✨

Come Together
In our world, there is always someone in need of our best efforts to rally a group of helpers and healers.
We humans have a knack for coming together and rising up to our potential in the face of a tragedy. Natural disasters and acts of violence bring us out of our small selves and into the world, ready to lend a hand to those in need. This experience is often life-changing for those who are willing to step into the position of helper. We feel as if we are finally doing something really important, and this leads us to feeling more self-actualized. We feel more connected to the people we are helping, as well as more connected to humanity in general. As we expand beyond the boundaries of our individualistic pursuit of happiness there can be a complete reality shift. We often find that it is much easier to be happy when we are motivated in an effort to make the world better in tangible ways, by coming to the rescue of those who are suffering.
Considering the many benefits of this kind of gesture, it is surprising that more of us don’t devote our lives, or at least some portion of our time, to serving people in need. We don’t have to wait for a tragedy to come together, as a community or a nation, and offer ourselves to the world in service. Sometimes it’s easier, of course, to respond to an event that has just happened rather than to ongoing problems like homelessness, poverty, and illness. But the truth of this world is that there is always someone in need of our best efforts to rally a group of helpers and healers. Maybe we feel discouraged because these smaller acts and gestures don’t generate the same kind of energy and attention from other people as heroic acts in the face of immediate disaster, and perhaps an effort to change this is one way to change the world.
The more we promote, applaud, and actively inspire humanitarian efforts in the world, the more others will be drawn to this kind of work. We might pay a little less attention to sports and celebrity gossip and a little more attention to those everyday heroes who devote their lives to alleviating suffering. The more attention we pay, the more we will inspire others and ourselves to be of service in a world that greatly needs our attention. AMEN! ✨🌹

Good morning in S. California wishing you a good new week. 😎✨🌹
Taci I meant to tell you something months ago. One of my brothers I have five went
to see the Oakland Raiders play in California he and his wife flew there. Well the team
won that game which was about six months ago by the time my brother and his wife
landed back in Colorado they had Covid-19 bro said the first two weeks was the absolute
worse time. My brother and his wife tested positive for two weeks. So I guess everyone
have a different experience. So far I feel fine so do hubby. ✨The Raiders are my brother’s favorite team you must love a team to board a plane to see
your faves play on field. This brother is easy to buy for just give him a Raiders Cup or Jacket.Taci your friend is very interesting those handbags I can smell them. 😎
Happy Trails To You. 🎶🎶
