No, we did not have donuts for dinner but he did have another one for dessert.🍩 This is like a once a year treat for us. I do buy/bake pies and cookies, so the donuts are like Dom Perignon in our house.

Hope you had an easy and enjoyable bike ride.🚴‍♂️ Temps to fall a little tomorrow and be in the 70s most of the week, perfect! Hubs said his car showed a temp of 100 when he got in after the gym today.🔥 Getting our mulch delivered and spread on Tuesday. Probably pedicure with mom and sis one day next week.🦶 Tomorrow is my bachelorette day, yay!

I am happy that you are now free from Covid. As I have said numerous times, it is no fun. It’s not like anything I have had today or prior. When you have your doctor appointments, do not be surprised if they look at things more than once or twice. Covid can attack scar tissue or leave things where they do not belong. Please remember to ask if you can do a wait and see and do not forget to mention Covid. And speaking of physicians, I will be making an appointment for this month and to get the Mam done and over with. I hope that the only problem I will have is finding a parking spot.

The head nurse was in yesterday and he never received the info on the antibiotic that hubby will need for the infection. He will be monitoring my hubby until he can get the answers. There was nothing in his chart and not sure who the nurses spoke to at the Rehab, if any. I will also contact the urology group on Monday to cancel his appointment since the test was postponed. I will also ask for another appointment. Hubby so wants to return home and this is the Rehab’s fault for not keeping the catheter cleaned and changed more often. I let the head nurse know that I was not happy with the situation. I have taken Pookie’s advice and looking for an attorney that specializes in Seniors. This is not an easy task.

Hubby’s memory is getting better. I am finding that low sugar is the culprit and have mentioned this to him. Last night I explained that when he misses a meal he is not doing his system any good. A nurse on the floor happened to listen to me and reiterated what I said. He also shakes when he hasn’t eaten. I do not mean skipping one meal. I’m talking about several in a day going on to the next. He says he isn’t hungry. But we both explained that a little of something will help him return home faster.

I am thinking about ordering a pizza for tonight. The Italian restaurant near our home makes a Philly Cheese Steak that is fantastic. It is one of their specialties. Best of all, they have their own people deliver.

Well, I better get moving. I need to shower and dress before leaving to see hubby. I do not intend to stay as late as yesterday. Hubby was real talkative and funny. He had me almost rolling on the floor. He has a new roommate. Seems OK so far. Enjoy your bike ride. Oh, weather has been pretty decent thus far. There is a slight chance of a rain event later. The sky in the East is starting to cloud up. I better get going.
