Yes, I did the recycle today. I mean yesterday. Not enough for the garbage collection. I will do that on Monday. I did make a stop at Costco. Picked up a couple of their small coolers which also come with an ice pak and a container. This will fit nicely into the cart. Hubby wants ice cream and this will serve that purpose. I think I spent over 3 hours in the warehouse. Gosh, time sure flies when you are having fun. Also filled the gas tank. Gas at Costco was $3.13/gal.. On my way to the Rehab, the gas stations were $3.11. On my way home gas was $3.45. YIKES, what a difference.

Hubby is now able to sit up by himself and dangle his feet over the edge of the bed. His dementia seems only to flair when his sugar is low. Now I wonder if I hit on something as to a cause. Something to think about. Yes, I brought hubby a hotdog and soda. I use empty plastic water bottles for the soda so it does not spill. I ordered a Caesar salad instead. Enough left over for two meals.

Sorry you had to hear my tirade on Tropicana, I did need to vent. However, what I wrote is absolutely true. The aroma coming from the plant is really bad. What I didn’t say, is that the oranges, I mean the juice, sits on a shelf for approximately six months before it is sent to the markets. Hubby used to drink this like it was going out of style. According to the urologist, it’s the one thing that can hurt both the bladder and the kidneys. Of course it isn’t only the orange juice, it’s also all citrus fruits whether fresh, concentrate or juice on the shelf.

With hubby being able to sit up by himself, means I won’t be straining the back muscles. It will just be a helpful maneuver either to a wheelchair or the walker. I think he realized this seeing me bent over because of my back. Cannot wait to get him home.

Today, I need to make quite a few stops. Dollar and a Quarter Tree, Aldi’s and Lowes. I saw a couple of plants at Lowes that will attract both a butterfly and hummingbird. It just seems that there aren’t enough hours in a day to do everything.

Unlike xango, we have seen no rain. Very muggy tonight. Humidity is over 86%, We have had the clouds, but nothing happens. Have a great Friday. Will get Trivia started a bit early. Hope to be home to joun everyone at a secent time. I really do not enjoy driving alone late at night..
