Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

I hope you feel better soon, the stew sounds delicious. Having enough for the freezer is always nice. I like doing just that, making enough to be placed in the freezer for a future date.
I made a small pizza for me today. Later I had a bowl of strawberries, they are in season here and very reasonably priced.
Those earings are quite beautiful, I bet it would look wonderful on you.In the middle of writing this we had another bird adventure, it’s the second time this has happened. I opened the door to get my Amazon package that arrived this evening. It was to be delivered Friday, it came early. And I completely forgot to check making sure the little bird wasn’t in the wreath on the door.
As I opened the door, it flew so very fast right pass by right ear. I all saw was nothing! 😂😂 I heard wings and felt something go by. We looked all over the house, bedrooms, bathrooms, study , living room etc and nothing.
Finally husband grabbed a duster and stuck in under the TV room sofa. The little thing was hiding under there. How on Earth? I looked behind the sofa, behide the TV, end tables. I didn’t see it. After it came out from under the sofa, it flew back and forth from one end to the other end of the house. And then it made itself comfy up on the patio door curtains pole.
Finally it flew back to the TV room and then took a turn out the front door.Well at least it knew to get out before I started watching State of the Union. 😂😂😂😂
Sending you some warmth from here. Take care and feel better Sheba. 💕 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️

Still hanging in there. The virus is still here and when I picked up the prescripts for hubby and myself there was nothing from the doctor’s office. So I called this morning and the Assistant said that was funny because she called in twice and said would try again.I have all the necessary items which my neighbor was kind enough to pick up. They had everything except the eye drops. So, need to call tomorrow for something else in it’s place.
Last night I stopped and ordered Asian takeout. So delicious. There is enough for today and tomorrow. I would order more except they are closed on Tuesdays. I also picked up the mail and was surprised to see that there was more space left in the box.
This afternoon, the next door neighbor helped to clean out our shed from top to bottom. This was one chore I dreaded. It is now done, clutter gone and one chore I don’t have to worry about.
I am trying my best to get things done. Very difficult when you spend all night coughing and then feeling weak when you fall out of bed.
To answer your question xango, all I know is that the rehab is on Manatee//sr 64. Our doctor’s office is ecstatic because they have a couple of physicians within their office that look after the patients. I couldn’t be happier either. I will try to see hubby either tomorrow or Thursday. First I need to get the antibiotics working and next the energy. This facility just happens to be the nicest I have ever seen. If we were up North it would be a regular convalescent home. What a difference.

Temps good for February but some rain coming this afternoon.🌧 Making salads for dinner.🥗 Hope the hockey team had a rebirth on their week off. Can’t afford to lose too many more.
I saw the Kelce mom on TV yesterday, she seemed to be proud of both of them.😊 Our local newspaper also had an article on PM saying he could be the next Brady.👍
Get well to both of us! We can thank all this crazy weather, we may have snow on Saturday.😣 Sending hugs your way.🤗💖

Habitual Anger
Anger can easily become our go-to emotion; to remedy, start noticing when and why you get angry.
Sometimes when we feel anger, it is coming from a deep place that demands acknowledgment and expression. At these times, it is important that we find healthy ways to honor our anger, remembering how dangerous it is to repress it. However, anger can also become a habit, our go-to emotion whenever things go wrong. Often this is because, for whatever reason, we feel more comfortable expressing anger than we do other emotions, like sadness. It can also be that getting angry gives us the impression that we’ve done something about our problem. In these cases, our habitual anger is inhibiting both our ability to express our other emotions and to take action in our lives.
If it’s true that anger is functioning this way in your life, the first thing you might want to try is to notice when you get angry. You might begin to see a pattern of some kind. For example, you could notice that it is always your first response or that it comes up a lot in one particular situation. If the pattern doesn’t become clear right away, you could try keeping a journal about when you get angry and see if you can find any underlying meaning. The good thing about keeping a journal is that you can explore your anger more deeply in it—from examining who in your family of origin expressed a lot of anger to how you feel when you encounter anger in others. This kind of awareness can be a formidable agent of transformation.
Anger can be a powerful ally, since it is filled with energy that we can harness and use to create change in the world. It is one of the most cathartic emotions, and it can also be a very effective cleanser of the emotional system. However, when it becomes a habit, it actually loses its power to transform and becomes an obstacle to growth. Identifying the role anger plays in your life and restoring it to its proper function can bring new energy and expansiveness to your emotional life. Amen. ✨✨
