I am home again today. Laryngitis is worse today than yesterday. No voice at all. Contacted the Hospital when things looked better for me and found hubby is also ailing with some kind of flu. This was all caused by the A/C in the hospital which was blasting between 4pm and 5pm. The area hubby was in had no door, but a curtain for enclosure in the ER.. One minute you are perspiring the next you are cuddling yourself to keep warm. I prayed that I wouldn’t get sick, but that didn’t help. When Case Management phoned late this morning they had hubby on intravenous in hopes they could get rid of the cough and then some. He isn’t eating or drinking. I just hope he can pull through. I am really scared and to think my family is miles and miles away. I am currently drinking Ginger and Lemon Tea with Manuka honey. It is helping. Why the ER would have A/C blasting away is beyond my comprehension. Anyway, I have been in bed most of the day. House is at a standstill. Hoping tomorrow will be different.

Glad you all had a great time in Trivia. I will be talking to our physician sometime on Monday. There are people visiting the ER and the Hospital itself who have problems walking. To them the facilities feels like it’s miles away. There are no benches until you get to the ER area. I have no idea what it’s like to walk from your car on the second floor through an enclosed area that brings you to the main area. What were the doctors thinking. I need to purchase a gift for the ER people, security and the nurses taking care of hubby in the Main area. He does have a room.

We had such an enjoyable and fun late lunch, early dinner with my nephew and wife. Good food and lots of laughs.🍝🤣 These are the parents of the golfing girls. Don’t see them very often because they are so busy so it was a great couple hours, love them so much!💖

They will go to the hockey game and back to the casino for some gambling. If the hockey team wins, I’ve come to the conclusion it must be us!😮 They are staying overnight at the casino hotel and back to Ohio tomorrow for one of the girl’s basketball game.

Looks like a cold day at your stadium tomorrow.🥶 That should keep them all on their toes.🦶 I hope you don’t have snow which makes it tough to play. I will be cheering along with you.🤸‍♀️

Hello Sheba, I hope you are getting all the things you wanted to get done.
I woke up to a chilly house, but didn’t turn on the heat. Hopefully it will warm up in the coming days.
It’s mid afternoon and I will made pizza, small ones. Yesterday I made 4 long French baguettes. And Brazilian cookies, along with pizza dough for today. The pizza dough has to stay in the fridge for 24 hours.

Hi, thank you for your post. Right now you need the take care of yourself. Your hubby is being cared for 24/7 and you need to get better. I am glad you are doing that. Save your voice, and real ginger as in a tea does help. I lost my voice in my twenties, and a doctor recommended that for me.
It’s also a good idea to wait until after Easter before going North. February will fly by fast.
Leaving March to finish your home here in Florida, and making plans for North.

I wish you could just fly there, hire someone to help you with the houses. Sell the houses and purchase yourselves a home here that would not be in hurricane area. More inland, perhaps even a a retired community with lots a amenities.

I have learned living here in Florida since 1988, that it’s not worth living near areas that hurricanes can damage the home I live in. Not having another house that I can go to if that one gets damaged.
But then again, that’s how my brain works😬😄. I take the safe way☺️.

I told my hubby, if ever we win the lottery, I want two homes. One at the beach, the other in a safe area away from hurricanes. We have been lucky, been through several hurricanes, both near beach area and away. And not very much damage to our houses.

Wishing you get better soon, your hubby gets into rehab and gets better too. Your home here gets fixed and done. And you and your husband can go North and get everything done.

Good day in Florida I hope you are doing well. ✨🌹I did have fun in Trivia last night Oodie
had a good crowd.

I am on the move today very busy. Charlie came by yesterday and we spent time together.
I opened the door to get a delivery and there he was. Charlie headed straight upstairs to
his bedroom and got into bed and went to sleep. 😂 We spent time together when he woke
and then he went home. The insulin seems to be working for him. 💕

Oz is alright today but tomorrow and the rest of the week will be a different story.
