Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread.
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

What a sweet post to me I am surprise someone figured it out. Yeah you are right it’s a part
of my daily routine. No matter how bad I feel. Lady if I feel real bad I will not post until I can.I am so glad you enjoy it and I know other people do too and they don’t have to make
a comment. I have mentioned this before many people just like to look and they have
told me so back in the day when we have PM here at HSN. I do miss that feature.I do have other threads in the Community and I will try to showcase some of the jewels.
I am going to call it a night rain is on the way. Yikes!!
Rest well sweet friend.

I am tired just hearing about the summit but if I were in your area with it be warm I think
I could do it.You are so funny about the many names I have I love Queen Sheba as you know Sheba
was my beloved pet dog. I named her after Come Back Little Sheba it was a movie made
before I was born and I saw this at my grandmother’s house. I love the name so when I got
her I named her Sheba I miss her more than I can say.Oz is about to rain so I am taking some medicine for the cold hope I feel much better
tomorrow. -
Looks like all the girls on this thread will be knocking at your door. I think you are a natural
when it comes to cooking and I like how you use spice on your food gives it that extra punch.Southern women like my family can spice food real good. We have many fine cooks in the
family. Those were the days most of those cooks have passed on. I miss them for more
than cooking. -
Glad you are doing so much better. Hey be thankful those eyedrops are not available.
I think they are under different names I got a sample from my eye doctor and it burned my
eyes so bad I threw it away that was weeks ago before the news of the recall.Every day it’s something being recalled good grief.
Be sure to eat and take all meds I just took my medicine and I am going to just do
nothing.I love the rainbow you saw.

Peace Out Peeps stay safe and warm.

I think I can honestly say, I have turned a corner. This morning when I awoke saw a double rainbow in our bedroom. Must have been a perfect sunrise. I will not try to see hubby before Friday and looking forward to it. Just do not know if I have to go through Covid testing.
Such a relief to have the shed and lanai done. Almost forgot. I do have those two rugs still rolled up in the living room for each end of the lanai. No, not ready to even think of going North. I want to enjoy the lanai. Have not been able to sit outside since September something because of Ian.
Tomorrow the pharmacy for the cough meds and then on to Aldi’s. Oh, before I forget. Received a notice last night. My farmer’s market is expanding. They will be taking over the former Winn Dixie Supermarket which is about 5 miles from home. Grand opening sometime in the Fall. Of course we will probably be on Cape wondering if we should close up or not. That should be the worse problem or scenario for 2023. At least let’s hope so.
Guess I will make some dinner. Looking at hotdogs and FF with a salad. Then again, I do have potatoes and the sour cream is a must have. Forget the FF. A baked potato is healthier.
Still looking for my new glasses. They are somewhere in the bedroom. But where????

Sheba, Sorry you aren’t feeling well. That is never fun. Sounds like you, Oodie and Shoelady have a sinus /cold issue. Hope everyone feels better soon.
I take flonase every day ( advice of dr. to try it) and for me it works well.
Queen Sheba’s my favorite. seems fitting but all the nicknames are great! I tried to post yesterday but can’t do it from my phone.
Hubs and I went for a hike in the Mtn’s nearby. It’s a killer hike as it’s up hill for 2.5 miles to the summit (but well worth it) and we suffered a bit. The return trip is all downhill so that is great. On the way home we stopped and did a short hike only to find it was hilly, so we cut it short. Yup we are tired and back home.
Loved the jewelry shows back on HSN! It’s been a while and i sure hope they continue them and Ms. Heidi of course. -
Oodie, glad you’re feeling a bit better. Btw, when my Mother was at the rehab sometimes her phone was off the hook, for whatever reason. I would call the front desk and ask them to check on her and her phone and then I was able to call her back.

Xango, all of your recipes sound delicious!

@Sheba
Hello Sheba, I hope you will be feeling better soon.
it’s a real beautiful day here, I was watering the plants and there was such a nice breeze.
I love these days with zero humidity, right now it’s 77 degrees in this late afternoon. No cooking today, I had a glass of milk and two bananas for lunch. Not sure what I will eat for dinner.
For hubby I made a Chick pea salad. Opened a can of garbanzo beans, rinsed it and warmed it with olive oil, sautéed onions/garlic. Then in another sauce pan I sautéed in olive oil a can of artichoke hearts with onions and garlic. Cooked a handful of diced green beans in the same pan I warmed the garbanzo beans. Diced tomatoes and cucumbers. Mixed everything together in a bowl with a little more olive oil and a squeeze of lime.
I may make some eggs for me later.I hope you feel better. Stay warm and take care Sheba

I am feeling a bit better. Having problems getting the eye drops. Seems they are on back order everywhere. Then again, I am beginning to feel that they may have been recalled. Just wish I knew the name. Tomorrow I will pick up the cough pills. too tired from the antibiotic to go anywhere.
Think I will try out the new washer and dryer. I can bring the clothing to the front desk and they will bring it to hubby. I would love to include his eyeglasses but will wait until I’m there to be sure no one tries to steal them. Been trying to reach him with no luck. Either his phone is disconnected or he cannot reach it.
Rescheduled the electrician to next week. Decided it would be best for all concerned. The lanai and shed look real good. Clutter went bye bye. Oh, yes, puffs and me are real good friends now. Changed mind. Do laundry in the morning. Ordered socks and some shorts for hubby. Valentines present a little early.

I am feeling better today but yesterday evening and night I got a sharp pain from my neck down to my shoulder and upper back.
Came out of nowhere so I was thinking maybe a pinched nerve. Took some Aleve this morning and it is gone. Still have a little stuffiness in my nose.
I think you get through this chat, however you feel, everyday because you enjoy it and it has become habit and part of your routine. Kind of like drinking that morning coffee, reading the daily paper, etc. It has become part of my routine and I look forward to it each day.
Thank you for your dedication and time.
All kind of robins in my yard today, I think they are ready for Spring.
Maybe the groundhog was wrong (I hope). Getting ready to brew another cup, I will be toasting you, dear friend.

The Power Of Transmutation
Adding a violet flame meditation once in a while to your daily practice is a lovely way to feel a fresh sense of peace.
The violet flame is a powerful tool anyone can use in meditation. It helps release negative karma, raise your consciousness awareness, the frequency of your vibration, and accelerate your spiritual growth. Energy can’t be erased but it can be changed, transmuting negative into positive, darkness into light. This allows you to make the choices you feel negatively about become positive, while also changing your emotional experience. Physically, the violet flame releases emotions and energy pent up within that make you vulnerable to illness and disease.
The violet flame in meditation uses a combination of affirming thoughts and visualization. Once centered, begin by surrounding yourself with white-and-blue protective energy. You may even want to call on archangel Michael for his protection while you go into this powerful spiritual state. Then repeat thoughts such as “I am cleansed and purified by the violet flame.” Picture a huge bonfire before you, its immensity making you feel small beside it, and marvel as the colors flicker between purple, violet, and bright pink. Sense its warmth while noticing that it will not burn you. Step into the flame, letting it surround you entirely while also filling the spaces in your body, your thoughts, even the cells and molecules within you. Once there, focus on the positive things you’d like to create in your life or your hopes for others. Visualize the violet flame in the midst of the scenes as they unfold in your mind. You may want to ask that the power of the flame be multiplied to assist those in need.
When you have finished your meditation, be sure to close with gratitude. The violet flame is a powerful tool that should be used consciously and with intent. Forgetting to close with thanks keeps you connected and may lead to the unintentional misuse of this energy. It is always a good idea when finished with any spiritual practice to give thanks as this creates closure. Saints and adepts throughout the ages have known how to use the violet flame, but it is available for all to use to raise our awareness and, eventually, that of all mankind.

Good day in the ‘burgh.
Congrats on your Hockey Team winning last night.
Lady I think they took your advice and got it together well they made it.OZ is dark at the moment just a bit of a chill in the air.
My head cold and issues are very much like yours. I know how you feel. Here have another
cup of tea and stay warm.I don’t know how I managed to finish this thread today. I don’t know where the energy comes
from I guess doing it every day for nine years may have something to do with it. Anyway I
welcome the challenge.I hope we both feel better soon. Sending a safe hug to you and Jake’s Canvas.
Hang in there.
