Hmm……wonder if a hot toddy would be better. Funny that you mentioned tea. I’m having ginger lemon tea. Very good. Need to go to the Farmer’s Market for fresh ginger.

Another nice day, never left the house, worked on taxes. I did not make it up until end of the hockey game but they were ahead when I fell asleep. Another game tonight at 10:30

Not feeling all that great so going to sit down with hubs and relax. My choice of beverages to calm the cough – hot tea, which I’ve had all day, or Bailey’s……I think the Bailey’s will work quicker!😄 Hugs to you and Poppy.🤗💖

Glad you all had some fun last night in Trivia. Great that there was a game.

Today I am about to restart the kitchen cleaning. I’ve been naughty in that all the dirty dishes, silverware, pots and pans are in the sink and since the sink is full, all over the place. I did manage to do two big loads of laundry yesterday. I have one load in the dryer and one ready which will need a rinse and spin cycle. I did try to reach hubby to no avail today. I surmise the nurses disconnected the phone. Either that or the therapist. Anyway, the switchboard/front desk knows the situation and will get a note to him and will again check .

The weather today is very windy, cloudy with temps supposedly in the mid 70s. Tomorrow the temps will have trouble getting to the mid 60s. Not to worry. I do have winter wear here just in case and that includes jackets with hoods and whatever. Today was not a good day to venture out and about. However, neighbor tried to call me and then came over. Did not hear the knock on the door. Did hear the knock at the window. She came over with the Sheriff’s office because she was concerned that I had fallen. So glad to see her.

Yes, I am feeling better. My eyes are just about back to normal. Just a little cough and using Puffs helps. Seeing and reading about the pizza has made me a bit hungry. May call around the corner for delivery. Not the best pizza, but it’s close by and I will not need to pick it up.

I am now wondering if I had Covid again. Yes, I had some of the symptoms, but mainly it felt like a head cold. Having an A/C vent above your head is not a good idea. Hubby was ill as well and they did test him for Covid, and that came back negative. He did have a virus and that is why I assumed I was OK. Hubby’s mind thus far, seems to be working OK. His short term memory loss is coming back. I just hope it continues.

Best news is that there is no such thing as visiting hours. I can come and go as I please all day and night. However, this is one time that I wish I had either a cat or a dog. Need to get the house in order first and then make a decision with our physician.

Trivia was interesting last night and we had an actual game. I think a good time was had
by all it’s fun when you get so many tickets just for answering a question. I have been playing
