Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. I was at the computer last night around 9 pm when I finally arrived home. Fell asleep and awoke @ 3 am still sitting at the desk. Tuesday morning things were a bit different. I was up at 3am finding hubby sitting at the computer. He was OK. Decided to get ready for bed and when I came out he was in bed. Everything seemed
Ok and I decided to do a few more chores in the kitchen. Decided to check and found him sitting on the floor. To explain how to get back to bed went in one ear and out the other. He was not coherent. I went back to turn off the lights in all rooms and upon return found him prone on the floor with arms and legs flailing about. Thought it might be low sugar and all I had was ice cream which I gave him. When two tablespoons seemed not to work contacted 911, They had no idea what was going on and he was taken to the ER. He will be going through tons of testing. This is not like him. I have also contacted the neurologist and that’s it for now. Since we have not purchased the washer, dryer and frig this will be top priority today since it is the last day of the sale. Need to get prescripts and then on to seeing hubby. Because all the beds are taken at the hospital, he is in a bid in the middle of the floor in ER. I will contact the hospital shortly to see if he was moved to a room or still in ER. I suspect he will not be released for a few days. That’s all I know thus far. Oh, no stroke and heart is fine. I still say it’s low blood sugar, but only time will tell. I’ll keep you posted. Just say I am tired. I will try to write tonight when I return. If not, morning. Take care all. My advice to you is to live every day as best as you can. Do not take things for granted. As we age is when our immune system and everything else starts to go haywire. Though age is just a number, to some, they may feel it sooner rather than later. Try to keep healthy. Do exercise and eat well. And, hopefully, things will get better. When I left hubby last night he had to use the bathroom. The rails on either side of the bed kept him from doing that. His next move was to try to climb over the rails. Funny on one end, not so good in a hospital. He was able, on his own power, to finally get to use the facilities. But, before I left they had to restrain him because some of their nighttime help were not there. Wish I could have taken him to the hospital we both like, but the EMTs said it was too far. Go figure.-
I am so glad to see you post I was waiting to hear from you. I am so glad you will
finally have help and maybe an answer as to what is going on.Oodie try and get some rest yourself we are here for you. 🌹🌹

Good afternoon to you. I hope you are feeling a little better. ‘Tis the season, one day warm, one day freezing.🥶 We are getting snow starting around 3:00 AM until around 8:00 and then turning to rain so we may have slush and ice tomorrow.🌨 And every day through the weekend something is falling from the sky.
Today was nail day with mom and sis and we did have lunch at Olive Garden. I have some leftovers for dinner.🍝 My nephew and wife from Ohio are supposed to come down on Saturday because we offered them our hockey tickets.🏒 They booked the night at the casino hotel so they can go to the game and go back and gamble.🎰🎲 We are supposed to meet them for lunch, just hope the weather is okay for driving.
I hope we hear from Oodie, saying prayers.🙏

@Sheba
Hello Sheba, thank you for letting me know about Oodiebom’s husband.
I hope everything turns out well.
How are you doing today, how is your cold doing?Yesterday I fried two sunny side eggs and had with rice and the heartburn started. Took the Alka-Seltzer and it went away. Guess I can’t have anything fried now, didn’t put that much Olive oil, just enough to sautéed it.
It’s mostly sunny, cool with a small breeze, nice day.
Take care Sheba

Disapproving Faces
Not everybody we meet will like us, and it is ok to move into acceptance rather than trying to make somebody like you.
It is not necessarily a pleasant experience, but there will be times in our lives when we come across people who do not like us. As we know, like attracts like, so usually when they don’t like us it is because they are not like us. Rather than taking it personally, we can let them be who they are, accepting that each of us is allowed to have different perspectives and opinions. When we give others that freedom, we claim it for ourselves as well, releasing ourselves from the need for their approval so we can devote our energy toward more rewarding pursuits.
While approval from others is a nice feeling, when we come to depend on it we may lose our way on our own path. There are those who will not like us no matter what we do, but that doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with us. Each of us has our own filters built from our experiences over time. They may see in us something that is merely a projection of their understanding, but we have no control over the interpretations of others. The best we can do is to hope that the role we play in the script of their lives is helpful to them, and follow our own inner guidance with integrity.
As we reap the benefits of walking our perfect paths, we grow to appreciate the feeling of fully being ourselves. The need to have everyone like us will be replaced by the exhilaration of discovering that we are attracting like-minded individuals into our lives—people who like us because they understand and appreciate the truth of who we are. We free ourselves from trying to twist into shapes that will fit the spaces provided by others’ limited understanding and gain a new sense of freedom, allowing us to expand into becoming exactly who we’re meant to be. And in doing what we know to be right for us, we show others that they can do it too. Co-creating our lives with the universe and its energy of pure potential, we transcend limitations and empower ourselves to shine our unique light, fully and freely. AMEN! ✨✨
