Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Sheba, I went back and read your post. This thread seems like one of your many creative outlets. It is visually lovely and well done. My hairdresser is from Japan and has been doing my hair since I was on maternity leave and strolled on into the salon (with my baby in his carriage) for a haircut. Her son is about 2 years older than my son. She has a thing for designer handbags. It seems this is a popular thing in Japan as well. Her bags are awesome.
Yah, get the walking in before the summer heat. Poppy doesn’t want to overheat either. I am so slow in the heat and my nerd is even slower :). It’s so funny hiking because people take their dogs and sometimes the dog just sits and wont move to go up a hill, or they are in strollers because they are old, and recently a lady had her dog’s ears in a wrap to avoid the foxtails.
The AL Bars look great. I might try a variety pack and love that they are gluten free. -
Sheba, I agree. Social Media and all the exposure is just not good for children.
Remember when we were kids and people worried about our exposure to the evening news and car chases?
How old do I sound? Sometimes my nickname is Boomer. haha -
Here is to a great Saturday Night enjoy your Pizza and Vino. I hope your headache gets
better. ✨Thanks for the shout out but I did test positive no issues and they checked me real good.

Poppy a bit. Poppy loved it. 😘😎 No people were out.Lady I have several Patricia Nash Bags some still have the tags. I may give some to a couple

The doctor told me to give it a few more days I am fine with that. I went for a mile walk
and I carried Poppy part of the way and I was not out of breath or tired. I wanted to walk
again. So I will give it some time. 😎Oodie enjoy your evening with your husband don’t forget the Ice Cream. I meant to

Good afternoon in Oz. It is cool and rainy today in the ‘burgh, but starting tomorrow sunny and mid to upper 70’s for the next 5-6 days.🌞🔥 I’ll take it, that’s perfect!!
🤞🤞🤞Keeping all body parts crossed for you and your husband today.🤞🤞🤞 That would be the best way to end the week. Same for your Colorado kin. We don’t have a basketball team so I don’t follow much but I’m going to give the Nuggets nudge to them (with the windows shut). I know the Avalanche were the reigning NHL champs and they are out so now they need a new champ.👍🏀👍
Woke up with a headache so we are getting pizza for dinner, yay, no cooking.🍕 Will probably add a little grapes to the mix.🍇🍷 They go with everything!😂 Hubs is golfing tomorrow so I will have the day to myself. Most likely will relax on the deck, read the paper, mags, book.
Sending love and healthy hugs from me and Jake.🤗💖🐶

You asked if our home was similar to the one the “Golden Girls” had in Miami. Oh how I wish it were so. Their home did not have any stairs leading out tothe lanai or up to the front door. Though everything in our home is on one floor, it still won’t be conducive to hubby’s needs. He will need to step down for the den or step up for the living room. He will not be able to get to the lanai or the front door. I am questioning the ramp until after meeting with the orthopedist. We had a similar situation with the other leg and with physical therapy he was able to use it again. My feeling right now is if he is able to sit in a wheelchair then maybe with his own leg movements he will have enough muscle control to get up and stand and eventually walk with a walker. He was trying to move that leg yesterday, but it was very painful. I told him to try doing a little at a time. I will be leaving here soon. He said no care package—bring ice cream. (LOL)

Good Afternoon. The lanai is done. And the workmanship couldn’t be better. I have one critter remaining and hope to catch it soon. Hopefully, there is no way they will be able to come in and frightened us. I will be stopping at Lowes sometime in the next couple of days to pick up steel wool to put in areas that they can squirm into. This means I can now set up our new electric Ninja outdoor smoking grill. I will be emptying the rest of the lanai so I can properly sweep and wash the floor and stairs. Cannot wait to put those rugs down. There are two. One for each end of the lanai. They are goth different, but in the blues of the ocean, I cannot wait to pull everything together. For now, I am leaving everything outside and will start bringing things in as soon as floor dries. Everything for the lanai will be scrubbed. Well, to work I shall go and then will see hubby. This is a good start in bringing the house together.
I do know to use a ramp. However, I may not need one, The primary issue will be getting hubby into a vehicle from our home. I have seen special busses that come to the driveway, so will be checking that out. I’m not sure if I will be able to ride with him or to drive separately to the appointments. In the beginning he will be home bound since there is no way for him to be able to get into a vehicle without help. The orthopedist and the rest of the group work with athletes. Though they may be lots younger than hubby, they do not let age make a difference. If the reconstruction surgery can be done, hubby will be able to move freely. There will be a few days to a week or more with pain, the outcome is what we will be after. Guess, I will be able to call him “The Bionic Man.” (He will need 2 replacements).
I hope everything turns out OK and you both are now free from Covid. Remember not to push yourself for at least a week. Sometimes Covid has little gremlins lurking around. You could have fever and chills, headaches, or other symptoms. Just take it slow and easy. The work will get done. Have a beautiful day. We are quite warm in Florida. Thunderstorms this afternoon, but I won’t be holding my breath. I have not seen any sign of rain since two weeks ago. The drought lingers on. I must be careful what I wish for. Well, back to work for me.
