I was working in the kitchen and watching the clock. At 1 pm I wanted to head to the Farmer’s Market. But shortly after I had a phone call from the neighbor next door saying that the roofers were here. No phone call. No e-mail. Last Friday I had an e-mail that they would be here Saturday. No show. I also asked that I receive either an e-kmail or a phone call to say when they would be here. So, this is two days in a row that I have not seen hubby. Ok, they corrected the roof problem and they are now working on two new screen doors. I will check around back to see how they did on the roof opening. Missing a downspout in one area. Not sure if they were able to fix it. I just hope someone tells hubby why I’m not with him. Yesterday was because of a ache in my hip area. Not sure if it was due to weather or due to the A/C.

It is now 7pm and they are getting ready to leave. They had to go to Lowes for the screen door replacement. It took them a couple of hours so I surmise they stopped for lunch. Just hope everything is now in order and I won’t have to worry or be concerned with the next hurricane.

The kitchen looks pretty good. There were no remnants of anything. I was critter free today. Hope it is like this for the next two weeks which means I will be able to discard everything and put the sinks back in order minus the clutter. I now will totally relax. Started a jigsaw in Kindle and I’m almost done. Between the ones that were free and the ones that I purchased, there is always something to choose. Have a great Saturday. It was supposed to rain. So far we are dry as a bone. Better coverage for Monday and then a nice cool down.

I wanted to let you know that I thought of you this morning. Did you see the photo of the lightning bolt that hit Christ the Redeemer statue? OMG, what a spectacular sight! A once in a lifetime shot that a gentleman nearby was able to catch.✝

Good afternoon to you. Chilly, gloomy day in the ‘burgh but we did not get any snow like they predicted which was good for the parade people.🍀

Feeling tired today from all my running during the week so taking it easy at home. Didn’t even go visit mom and sis.😕 Maybe I also have a tad of something. Making an easy, one pan dinner of chicken and rice.

Tomorrow is gown night.💃 I will be waiting for all your pics in case I miss some. I know you and I will be rooting for the same male actor – tough category this year.🏆

Don’t work too hard today. Sending hugs and love to you and Poppy. He does look handsome in his dapper coat!👍💖

This is concerning because if they have been serving you in the past and all of a sudden
