It’s after 1 am. I fell asleep reading the news in MSN in bed. I worked on the desk today, I mean yesterday and it is looking good. New keyboard that every once in a while skips a beat. Just a little more to do plus 2 boxes and this part will be done. On the pieces that I feel are missing for taxes I have made the necessary phone calls and the duplicates should arrive sometime next week.

I did see hubby this evening. No care package this time. When I arrived his dinner was waiting and he was fast asleep. I tried to wake him, but he just fluttered his eyes. He knew I was there. The nurses came in to take his dinner and I mentioned it had not been touched. At that point, I was asked to leave and about twenty minutes later I could return. Seems they wanted to thoroughly clean the room. His roommate was walking around. All I can say, when I looked around the corner, both beds were out in the corridor. When I was able to return the room had a spring like scent. Both beds were completely redone and my hubby was sitting up and eating He ate the entire dinner including the strawberry dessert. Still no word yet on the Urology appointment. I completed the forms the end of last week, so I assume a date and time is forthcoming.

The house is starting to look pretty good. I have yet to call Spectrum because I only have the den ready. I still need to finish the MB and the Great Room. I will be taking part of tomorrow off. Gas sky rocketed in the last twenty-four hours. Over the weekend it was $3.16. Today it was close to $3.40. I have a feeling that there is some price gouging going on. Anyway, I will be filling up today at Costco. Hubby asked for their hotdog with soda. Guess I will do some shopping and will bring the insulated bag with ice pack. Temps should be in the low 70s due to the cold front.

On the way home, t he sun was beginning to set. The sun itself was a bright orange and yellow and was just beautiful. The clouds were a nice shade of lilac and purple. The hues were and are my favorite colors along with pink and mauve. No pink or mauve tonight. But I was just as happy to see the purples.

I hope you had a great evening. There was a snowfall North and it will be cold in that neck of the woods tomorrow. However, both Thursday and Friday they will have temps in the 50s, so that snowfall will soon be a memory. Of course there is another storm on the horizon. I will be watching for sure and then be thankful that we are in a sunny and a dry Florida. We do need the rain.

I did enjoy some sun today I have been a little blue with all that is happening in the
family. I think the change in the time may have turned things around for me.

Hey Spring is only a mere week away. I can’t plant yet we have to be in late April due
to the fickle weather patterns here. I am going to do it up real nice.
The gardens will look nice and I don’t spend a fortune since hubby and I plant our own.

I will be careful what I wish for because I just might get it and that is my flowers in bloom.
Of course that means warm weather.

I loved Joan Rivers she kept the awards moving and very funny.

Oz just had some sun and in the 40’s so much is going on in the world good grief.

I hate turning the Telly on especially when it comes to banks closing I know that is
a sore spot with a lot of people. I am concerned and I hope it does not come this
way.

My neighbors are interesting we are not around each other every day but we do hang out
over the holidays. The neighbor across the street do not have children but she is so funny.
I have never seen an independent woman like that she comes and goes as she pleases.
I see she always traveling out of town and she has plenty of friends.

Xango with the passing of people in my family already this year have gotten to me.
Oz has been cold and cloudy we had a true winter season and it has not let up yet.

Sheba, it sprinkled most of the day. I walked and it was off and on. Lots of humidity. Wow, it was thick and took me back to my childhood days living on the East Coast. Great to have interesting neighbors. In CA people don’t socialize with neighbors (like in other States I have lived). We know all our neighbors but it is unusual to interact a lot, maybe that helps make for good neighbors. Anyways, you are lucky to have good ones.
Back in the day I enjoyed watching the Award type shows, you know the Joan Rivers era and her hosting and shows. She was funny and it was fun to see all the fashion.
I will stop there.
