I made the pizza with hamburger, orange peppers, onion and pineapple. I let it cool and then made the cuttings. Put it into a box and took it with me to the Rehab. I also brought paper plates, a knife in case it needed more cutting, honeydew for dessert. Left soda and water in the van because I couldn’t carry everything. Hubby was awake and alert. He had had a full dinner with dessert, yet wanted a slice of pizza. The honeydew he devoured and asked me to bring another piece tomorrow along with a dish of ice cream. The ice cream I will bring in the small dish with cover that Tiramisu was in. I will also use two or three ice packs.

Hubby for a little while was good. Then all of a sudden he wanted to get out of bed and go out the door to Hartford. A few times I had to say we are in Florida and no where near Ct.. Besides, where in Hartford did he wish to go. He could not answer. He was also very itchy. His roommate the same. I do not know if it was an allergic reaction to dinner, bedbugs, bugs in the room. A good question. Monday, while both patients are in therapy something will be done to the room and inspected by their exterminators. I also found myself itching and scratching. Once out of the room I was fine.

I clocked the ride home from door to door. It’s 8 miles, 12 traffic lights, and one stop sign in both directions.

While at Costco I noticed that they had an air mattress. I was thinking that this may be a good solution for when hubby falls out of bed. Unfortunately, the one that Costco had was a queen size and I actually need a twin. It would be better than the bed rail which he tries to climb over. However, there are no rails on the bed in Rehab. The only bed he falls out of is the one in Fl. . Never fell in a hotel room, or our other homes. I actually think here is because he thinks I do not have enough room to turn over. But, I have more than enough.

The neurologist we went to once and have not seen since was because of the hurricanes. However, that one visit he felt that the dementia was due to a sleep disorder. This is something I will follow up on when hubby returns home. Meanwhile I will purchase Sudoku for beginners since he enjoys mathematical equations and adding up our purchases when shopping. He is able to figure it out with the tax. I”m also looking at logic problems for beginners. I used to enjoy these puzzles and it helped me with the SATs. It would be fun doing them again and then seeing who would come up with the correct answer first. This way we may be able to get the brain to function more and to keep the dementia at bay for awhile. I also asked the nurse if there is a way for him to start walking out in the hallway as well as having pelvic exercises. He looked at me kind of strange and then remarked that he thought of that as well to help with the prostrate and as a solution to his kidney and bladder functioning. If anything, it could help and may get him off the catheter sooner than later.

I actually wrote something two hours ago. It went bye bye. I hope you have a great day. Do not work too hard. We never got the rain we needed here. Instead we have wind which as you know really helps the sinus issue. Hi to Poppy.

I would rather be cooking in the kitchen then out and about. I love being in the kitchen
with my husband and he is an excellent cook in his own right. ✨😘🌹

Good evening to you. Have one eye on the hockey game and the other on a magazine.👀 Not real into the game this evening, it’s turning into a blowout.

Yes, I sure will miss sis but she’ll be back in a month. So I will be doing double duty for a few weeks. Which means I better get some good night sleeps.😴 Hate to say it but mom has way her schedule than I do. I guess when you’re almost 93 you say yes to everything!😄

Cold here but no snow, wind chills tomorrow morning in the single digits.🥶 Starting Monday it will warm up each day.
