Conversation – 18
Hello Peeps time for a new Conversation Thread. This is
number 18 out of the series. I created and started this thread 9 years ago.
I will change it often from now on. This is just a knock around
thread about things in life. My life and others. I am an avid Heidi
Daus Collector, former singer, model and so on. I do this thread because
I enjoy what I do. I love fashion and music and HSN is a little of both.
I cover a lot of music and fashion on this thread. ✨😎
I am going to wish Happy Holidays to all the Peeps out there and please
stay safe.

Dear lord what? I can’t believe this all happened since you left yesterday.
I know he is not feeling this. Oodie can you talk to him? I hope they give him
something for the itch. I had a major itching problem due to some meds when
I was in the hospital a few years ago and it is not fun.How are you doing? I wish you had someone there to hold your hand and give you
a shoulder to lean on. This is concerning to me I think this is a bit much. Please let us know how things are going this evening. I am saying a prayer for you
and hubby.I really mean this.

Hello and Happy First Day of Spring 🌷🌷🌷⚘️⚘️⚘️🪻🪻🪻🪻🥀🥀🥀🥀🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹⚘️⚘️⚘️🌷🌷🪻🪻🪻
I hope you are your hubby had a great weekend. Hopefully your weather starts to warm up.
It was very chilly overnight, the house stayed cool all day. No need for air conditioning.Hubby is working from home this week also, it limits my noise in the kitchen 🤫
I talked with my cousin in Brazil, her beautiful yard got lots of rain. She has papaya and Pomegranate trees. Lemon tree, Plants from Yuca, lettuces, tomatoes, peppers, green beans and much more. The flowers are so beautiful, all kinds.
In 2009 when I visited her, she was still constructing her house. Now it’s a beautiful paradise.Take care Sheba. ❤️❤️🌷🌷🌷

Hi and a good afternoon to you. That cold just lingers and does not wish to leave any time soon. Not good when you feel kind of run down and need to tackle a few things.
I just wanted to give you a heads up on a cruise for mom and sis. Three years ago we took a cruise and had Covid. The best part of that cruise was the balcony where we could sit all day and read. We never made the necessary reservations for touring, but could do so on board even the day of. But hubby and I remarked that going up to the Lido deck when most were touring was the real good idea. No one in the pool or around that area. We had the food area almost to ourselves and best part was taking it down to our stateroom and enjoying the sights from the veranda (alias: balcony). If there is time before heading North, we may book something. That is, if hubby is also feeling up to it. There are busses from here to take you to the cruise on the day of. We will probably stay at a local motel overnight so we can leave the car. Take care, stay safe and don’t rush. Hope your team wins tonight.

I had Terminix here this am. All critters taken away. I have not heard from the contractor across the street so will make another call asap. I did drive to see hubby early this afternoon and was not permitted to see him. He has a rash that covers almost 100% of his body. The night nurse on Friday had mentioned that they took samples of the spots and also did a blood test. Meanwhile I was told not to touch him, though I did massage his toes. I did remain at the Rehab for two hours and after that I left for home. I did make a phone call to our primary care physician and left a message since they had left early for a meeting. Hopefully, they will return my call tomorrow. I need to have some answers and if it’s catching preventive methods for me. If it isn’t one thing then another.
Weather is still quite cool with temps in the low to mid 60s. No rain in sight for this week. Loads of sunshine. No clouds in sight. Temps tonight will be in the mid 40s. Unbelievable for this part of Florida. and towards the end of March. I’m ok with the temps. There is no humidity.
The kitchen is now finished minus washing the floor. I am now working on the breakfast bar. The new frig will be delivered a week from today. Not looking forward to emptying the old one, but will start the process Sunday night. I will empty the freezer prior to the delivery on Monday. I will get a four hour window. Dining area is next and then back to the Master bedroom and en suite bath. Enjoy your evening and walk with Poppy in the moonlight.

Good afternoon in Oz. Beautiful blue skies and sunshine but still chilly.🌞 I will take it for the first day of Spring.🌷 We will get rain later in the week. Hope the temps stay up since my irises are about 1/3 above the ground.🌾
Decided to tackle cleaning the windows inside today since the sun is out. I have a window cleaner who does the outside once a month. Making a tuna casserole for dinner. Maybe the hockey team can pull one out tonight, they are on the verge of missing the playoffs.😣
Enjoy your evening. Sending the usual to you and Poppy.🤗🥰💖

Now Is the Time
The time to blossom is now, not sometime in the future when you believe the stars will be aligned for you.
Having a vision for our future that differs from our current circumstances can be inspiring and exciting, but it can also keep us from fully committing to our present placement. We may become aware that this is happening when we notice our thoughts about the future distracting us from our participation in the moment. We may find upon searching our hearts that we are waiting for some future time or situation in order to self-actualize. This would be like a flower planted in North Dakota putting off blooming because it would prefer to do so in Illinois.
There are no guarantees in this life, so when we hold back we do so at the risk of never fully blossoming. This present moment always offers us the ground in which we can take root and open our hearts now. What this means is that we live fully, wherever we are, not hesitating because conditions are not perfect, or we might end up moving, or we haven’t found our life partner. This can be scary, because we might feel that we are giving up our cherished dreams if we do not agree to wait for them. But this notion that we have to hold back our life force now in order to find happiness later doesn’t really make sense. What might really be happening is that we are afraid to embrace this moment, and ourselves, just exactly as we are right now. This constitutes a tendency to hold back from fully loving ourselves, as we are, where we are.
We have a habit of presenting life with a set of conditions—ifs and whens that must be fulfilled before we will say yes to the gift of our lives. Now is the time for each of us to bloom where we are planted, overriding our tendency to hold back. Now is the time to say yes, to be brave and commit fully to ourselves, because until we do no one else will. Now is the time to be vulnerable, unfolding delicately yet fully into the space in which we find ourselves. AMEN! ✨✨
